  1. Past hour
  2. Very nice! Cantwell ran the show and makes Hedges look a player. (Usually Ryan has me screaming abuse at the telly!) I like Alebiosu…..good replacement…..I remember how long it took Brittain to find his feet. Ohashi may work hard but there’s little result….he’s too easily nudged off the ball. Gueye isn’t the answer upfront either……..new striker please. I know many are sad to see Travis go but I’m not one of them. He rarely scores, has no guile….prefers the back pass and can be relied upon to give a niggly foul or 2 in dangerous positions. Tavares looks better and Tronstad was excellent again today. So was McLouglin. Ribeiro and Hyam were ok. Hull were poor mind. Kargbo, Henriksson (and Miller) are works in progress but De Neve ……not so sure about.
  3. It's just a joke. "You have just been ..... by the ......" posts are going around social media. Don't take it too seriously.
  4. I took abit of a battering yesterday on the transfer page for saying things weren’t as bad as people were making out. Today doesn’t prove me right. But I do genuinely think that VI is building something - I’m not sure how it will turn out but there is clearly a strategy and profile and I’m looking forward to seeing how it will come together. In general I’ve liked what I’ve seen of the new signings. Really don’t think we’ll be in the relegation mix - midtable looks a certainty. Onwards and upwards!
  5. That would be the utterances of Pahsa, Gestede and their acolytes/stooges.
  6. I disagree - The first game, we probably didn’t do enough but could’ve easily nicked a draw. The cup game was lost in the first 2 minutes and we suffered with the rotations, but we were well worth the win vs Birmingham. Aside from the results, the point I was making was that in spite of losing Batth, Brittain and now Travis. Then replacing them with random foreign lower division imports, we’ve looked solid and well coached. Thats not easy to achieve in the circumstances.
  7. Brilliant performance today but rovers fans putting this under hulls full time tweet is absolutely pathetic…
  8. Absolutely mint when our only negatives are that we didn't score at least 5. 0-7 wouldn't have been undeserved. I apologise for not being more ambitious. We said the exact same thing. If he can be a consistent (and healthy) version of an good version of JRC then he'll do nicely.

  10. Toth will be worth at minimum 5 mil in two years....Signingn not looking too bad...always thought Travis was Jason Lowe with some bite to em so not sad he gone...Tronstad the maestro in the middle and we should break the bank to re sign him...Kongbo looking better...McGluoghfin a great signing...a striker needed and VI may have something here...
  11. Still shows some weak points in the squad for me, wasn’t comfortable until we got the 3rd but can’t fault the efforts from everyone today. hope we have a big week ahead and address some issues. we won’t see us play many worse teams than hull this season. Iv tipped them, Oxford and sheff wed for the drop
  12. Disagree but no matter. Against a top side the whole team performed out of their skin for that result. Today, we bossed a poor side with little energy.
  13. We could easily have 7 points right now with better officiating.
  14. The result was better that day and we defended like trojans. But the team performance was better today.
  15. Hyperbole if we win, hyperbole if we lose. 😉 Well done today, one of those performances when several players did what you know they can do on a good day. Away fans deserve it.
  16. Agreed. Could’ve been 5. Can’t think of the last time I felt we should’ve won 5-0 at home, never mind away!
  17. Typical Rovers Pull one out of the hat when you least expect it. Normal service will be resumed soon!
  18. I think that's a bit of a stretch to say at this stage - we've just had very one good game but before that lost three others on the bounce, the first two deservedly so and the second of those two at home against League 1 Bradford. Excellent today though, let's hope we can keep it up.
  19. it`s never about the manager at rovers, they`ve all been ok since the coyle shenanigans, our handicap is behind the scenes
  20. Thought the scoreline flattered Hull if anyone to be honest.
  21. Can say the same of Alebiouso. Tactically we haven't changed anything, just comes in and plays as Brittain did.
  22. Excellent win today. After their first 2 chances, they didn't really threated much. Rovers scored a brilliant first goal, great pass by Karbgo and Hedges's finish was beautiful. We had chances for a second goal but we went at 1 nil up. even game up to half time. After half time, we scored 2 very good goals. We got control of the game and we were the only team who was going to another goal. Every player was 8 or above. Cantwell put in Captain performance today and I think it was Ismael's masterstroke of him. COYB!!!🔵⚪ Delighted for all their fans who travelled to Hull to support the team that we put in that performance and winning
