Only that i saw someone from Bristol on X a few weeks ago saying Dolan had been shown around the training ground. Seems like half the teams fans in the Championship are claiming he's signing for them but it could just be agent tittle tattle trying to drum up interest. Just think the fact that Bristol City is a bit left field and was never mentioned anywhere else it might actually have legs, if they pay well they'll be in with a shout certainly.

This is not the Blackburn Rovers I grew up with and was proud to support.Not a pot to piss in during the 70s/80s but always pro active with the fanbase and happy to welcome you into Ewood.The bond with the Township was strong and solid,unbreakable. There's loads of owners of other clubs who have attracted all sorts of negative publicity and labels of 'worst' owners in England for differing reasons. Oystons, Mike Ashley, Chansiri, Ken Anderson, SISU, Duchatelet, Carson Yeung, the other Chinese bloke at Birmingham, the one at Reading until recently, Vincent Tan at one stage. Point is that as bad as they might have been they've all had plus points along the way, including some sporting success and took some interest in their clubs. More importantly than that the bad times were relatively brief. A few years or so then it burnt out because they either gave up, ran out of money or got forced out. No other example I'm aware of beyond Venkys of such a long term sustained spell of damage and destruction, with no end in sight, and so few positives. Basically the only ones people can dig up are that they've paid their bills. That's how low standards have sunk that the best they've got to their name is paying their bills and not allowing the club to go bust. All those other clubs could move on, reunite, rebuild and look forward. We can't do that.

Really? That's worse than ignoring and asset stripping a club over a 15 year period? Never visiting and leaving the stadium to rot. These people are the most vile owners football has ever seen. These mercenaries will simply get moves to other clubs for big money, they'll be fine... Think about the fans who get fucked over and the businesses that suffer in the surrounding area. Some weird sentimentality on here these day for grown blokes who don't give a shit about us.

I presume they have to present a few years business plans and cash projections for the club to the bank for the huge overdraft facility, maybe even to the parent company finance people as well. I think there'd have to be a plan already in place should the worst happen.

To be honest I’m a Bristol City fan who has heard it first hand that Dolan’s agents went to Lords over the weekend during the test match to thrash out a deal with the City reps. When I went into his Wikipedia site to find out a bit about him I saw that his current side is down as Bristol City. However, there is absolutely no gossip abut him in local media or fans forum so all seems rather odd to me. I can assure you I did not update his Wikipedia page but I was hoping one of you might know something at your end.

The investigation isn’t into money laundering as that’s a different law (PMLA) than the one they’re being investigated under (FEMA). Also, FEMA is a civil law whilst tax evasion is a criminal matter so I don’t think they’d be caught by that either.
