For the life of me I can't understand why we refuse to resign Tronstad. He's clearly the glue in midfield and all the players and Ismael love him, and he actively wants to stay. I can't even imagine his wage demands are outlandish, especially if the alleged move home to Scandi land is real. We save money by not having to replace him too. He is top priority in Jan. -

Haven’t we 23 players currently registered so even with O’Riordan we’d still have one spare? -

I dont fail to understand. Just because I dont agree with you, it doesnt mean that I just have no understanding of the rules. For me, its not just about listing players which you repeatedly do. If there are 3 positions up for grabs, as far as you are concerned, if you can name 6 or more players who can play those positions, whether they are good enough, whether theyve proven themselves yet, whether they are constantly injured, it doesnt seem to matter to you. I am bothered about quality. I dont think we have enough. And how is signing first team quality players "wasting money?" We have so many players in the squad who are nowhere near the standard. Gueye, De Neve, Henriksson, Tavares, Kargbo. Conversations can be had, give them time unlike the disgraceful way we treated Sigurdsson. Say theres a big chance that you wont be registered if you stay, things havent worked out, you arent part of the plans going forward. Ribeiro I think a similar conversation because he no longer has a place in the formation. With Carter, hes a waste of a space to be honest. This wont happen by the way, we will end the window still full of crap in the squad. But it needs to happen. -

Cantwell in my opinion is a 10, not an 8. I agree regarding Tronstad that we lack a proper backup in the holding midfield department after Travis left, however. Holding midfielder coupled with a playmaker and box-to-box player is in my view a good combination in central midfield. We've lacked a central midfielder who can drive forward and attack opposition box for so many years. JDT experimented with Travis at one point but it failed. Baradji has potential to become good but I feel we need another one in case he gets injured again. -

Social media is the Wild West, obviously the crux of the whole thing is getting a critical mass of that 9,000 or so that will (actually) attend for a 3pm Saturday game to not do so. Does the Coalition still think that will happen? As I have very big doubts after the conversations I had on Saturday and since. -

Which is the marshmallow, wrapped in cotton wool, many these days. What happened to people wanting more out the club? We want owners that care that's all. We don't want to be pumped up to touch the number 1 spot in the Prem. We want ambition, integrity, trust and above all, we want people that believe in success of the most famous Town team in footballing history. Yea we are. Don't care about any other team. We can go on supporting the lads on the pitch that'll never stop no matter how hopeless but for no attempt to better ourselves other than do everything on a very scrupulous budget for 15 years is unforgivable -

Whats always interesting reading social media is the loudest voices of opposition to change in the main don't actually go Ewood. I find it incredible on X in particular the opposition to boycotting is from supporters who aint actually going or have never been. As a season ticket holder they've had my money already, but on average i spend over a £100 per game at the ground, across parking, club shop, children flag bearing and refreshments for me and the family. That's the first tap , ive turned off. Looking through my bank statements, i've spent (not including season tickets or fuel) £2146.00 this season. In the new year thats halfway to a holiday and wont be going in the clubs til in any capacity. As a supporter of 47 years, i've seen the good, the bad and the ugly but this time its different. No connection, no goosebumps and a club/ownership who dont give a f***, about the fans. -

Nothing can fail if what you're doing is sending a message out. Failure is for those who believe in it. -
Glad I bought 5 last night, I wasn’t aware of this ludicrous decision. I remember when this kind of thing was all we had to moan about, how times change….. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

I hadn't even considered the Britain factor, great credit must go to Alebiosu for that, I honestly wouldn't swap back. -
The county game needs massive reform. The biggest problem is the hundred. That's take up all of August when you should be playing 2 or 3 test matches then. We should always have 7 test matches summer.

I mean, all players have bad games. We can hope Brittain has a poor game again when they play us, but by all accounts for most of this season he's very much been as good as them as he was for us in his final season or so. I'm expecting he'll come into the game with a bit of extra motivation to perform. -

If it's a digital ticket game, why on earth can they not be sold over the Christmas period online without the need for the Club to be open? -

A lot of Rovers fans will be wanting to go to this game with many making a last minute decision. It seems that both clubs are unwilling to be flexible enough to accommodate them. i don’t understand why they can’t be available online. Surely Ticketmaster doesn’t shut down for Xmas! -

Doesn't negate the fact that like his team mates he had a bit of a stinker at Bristol on Saturday. Hopefully we don't suffer from a rebound reaction on Boxing Day. -

You'd think one of the few benefits to an 'online only' or digital ticket regime would be that it would allow people to buy more flexibly and for the home club to more easily monitor demand and make decisions, as well as not having to worry about the problems of Christmas staffing and closures. I imagine part of this is that between now and 29th (we don't open Mondays for some crackpot reason) the shop and staff are probably only in for a few hours overall. But no, it seems the opposite is true and the unprecedented step of refusing to sell them for a whole 6 days over Christmas is the preferred course of action. Really odd behaviour from two skint and struggling clubs who need every penny and attendee they can get Anyhow, Sheff Wed obviously don't seem concerned about shifting a few hundred more tickets at £30 a pop plus concourse spending, and Rovers don't seem bothered about ensuring more fans can go and support the team as it battles relegation. So I again ask myself, why would I bother? -
Just tuned in to see whether Ryan was playing but on bench. Up front is Akor Adams, the big ghost signing of a few years past as announced by Mercer 😞

Really? At the moment, we have Tronstad sitting with Cantwell & Morishita either side of him, Baradji looks like he will eventually be pushing for a start as one of those a bit further forwards too. Yet nobody capable of filling in for Tronstad, barring Forshaw, who has to have 2 months off if he plays 2 games in a week Central midfielder needed, but a back up (and eventual replacement due to penny pinching) for Tronstad is what is required
