Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Mercer replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Think we've had half a dozen with 'three thousand and odd for a League game'. Remember a league game in Bobby Saxton's reign against Cardiff where we just about scraped over 3,000 - think it was our last home game of the season and ended in a draw. I was there!!!!! -
I wish they would ban them, that would make for national news. Doubt even they would be that stupid.
-
Can't knock the mans graft but Yuki gets in about two good goal scoring positions per game often played in with a clear run on goal but the end product is usually nothing. Scores a pearler now and then which is great but to rely on him for many goal contributions is a weak philosophy.
-
Ohashi is a solid harrier in a forward frontline, but a proper striker he ain't. The fact he's often our only really viable striking option is an indictment on our terrible recruitment.

Not really going to be a sale if he doesn't sign a pro deal. Just losing him for minor compo.

I’m a season ticket holder of 45 years. I will not be at Ewood on Saturday I will be boycotting.

They don’t, in fact the rovers coverage is very good on BBC Blackburn. However what they won’t do is get themselves an LET style ban.
-
Ohashi is guff. The primary measure of a strikers success is goals, and ideally the more goals for the fewest amount of chances. Ohashi misses far more than he scores. I love his attitude and endeavour but looking at it objectively in terms of raw output he’s crap.

Keanesque tactics Preparing to blame the fans for the teams demise this season Just the usual nasty and manipulative divisive tactics -
In the last 12 months we’ve had (reasons to boycott) - a local journo blackballed for being “negative” - Sky sports cancelled - 2 games rained off - an experienced squad dismantled - no Wharton money spent - the 150th anniversary as an afterthought - a PNE shirt for our anniversary game - 99 excuses and the pitch is one from Val - Dion De Neve - Henriksson - leaked calls allegedly disparaging players - doctored and delayed FF minutes - no court case resolution still (not in the club hands) - a senior staff member calling BRFCS mods spice heads and drug addicts - longstanding club servants bullied out there’s probably so much more we’ve forgotten or don’t even know about yet

From memory Three thousand and odd for a League game. -
Given the summer antics, I wonder if any of the player liaison mafia will post cryptic likes (potentially if prompted to do so)

My suspicion is there was some sort of incentive for them being able to dump huge amounts into the club books. Since the investigation they've been under the spotlight and the money has dried up. Remember, they were absolutely determined to relegate the club from the premier league and have it stagnating in the championship for 15 million a year until 2022, which was when they were under investigation. -

The club is not a normal club - things have dramatically got worse much faster (who thought that was possible) post Waggott. Rudy and Pasha are left unchecked, with no connection to the fans, no connection to the club other than a pay check and no fucks given between them. As a player Rudy gave no fucks when he forced his move out. He gives none now when forcing others out & no respect to the players who are here either. This man given his history should never have been near this club in a senior position. Most people have to earn that level of position and work and understand every facet of the business in their remit - this man does not. If the calls are genuine - Pears has every right to be fuming and turn the dressing room against those above. Those at the helm give absolutely no shits about the fans who pay their hard earned money for tickets, who pay for shirts & merch. No shits about the strength of the team, not even the pitch, the ground, the actual “people” in the playing squad rather than a value (we lose if he plays - what great sales skills). There are no shits given about the history of the club other than a late half arsed attempt to make £200 from season ticket holding hardcores. There is no shits given about the clubs reputation. No care given about even hiring a CEO. No shits given about the fans forum (doctoring minutes) and Rudy certainly doesn’t about staff who were here long long before him. I disliked Waggott but since he has gone it’s really fallen off a cliff. REMEMBER - Rudy cares only about Rudy, and Pasha about his bank balance BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT

What’s the lowest ever attendance at Ewood for a non friendly? -
This a thousand times over, let's not forget Axel Henriksson (who we all think is pretty crap) spoke to a paper in his home country to say how much of a dump Blackburn is and how our facilities aren't great. Players do not care how backed they are, they are contractors and move to clubs like ours these days in the hope of the next move.

Any news or update on the club reversing the LT ban or is it permanent!?
-
If you are going on Saturday, you are either going because of family (very fair) or support progressive decline (mental). It’s simple.
-
I have managed to convince another 3 ST holders to boycott and spoken to another 2 who weren't going to boycott but are now. Thats on top of the 12 I have already spoken to who are boycotting. The statement by the club is nothing short of embrassing given what has taken place over the last decade and a half and can be added to the mountain of other BS they have spouted during that time.
