  1. Past hour
  2. A sell on from Phillips would probably just about cover a years agent fees for the Ewood merry go round. Why do we still have so many balloons who think every fee goes into the transfer pot ?
  3. £30m plus £6m offer is probably too much for them to turned down. It's a cracking offer for Quansah. I think Cresswell would good signing for a Forest or Everton
  4. How were Pulp @Norbert Rassragr ?
  5. Today
  6. Because nobody has offered to buy him.
  7. 3 managers who have worked with him have all loaned him out, that tells you the story
  8. Ugh, never liked Alanis, but glad someone had a good time.
  9. I'm not sure who gets any benefits of listening to a random Sunderland player, who's just been subbed, giving his opinion as to why Sunderland are 5-0 down at the Etihad after an hour. Players will be limited on what they can/can't say. Same goes for the any half time footage of the dressing room. Sky can't show Pep losing his shit when his team are 1 down and he's going ballistic at his players.
  10. I noticed that affidavit and documents being filed but can’t come up with a reason for this I’d be confident about (your suggestion re the first not being accepted doesn’t seem implausible though). In terms of Companies House, this only ever shows when the money is turned into equity (shares) so I wouldn’t necessarily expect this to have happened yet. Clearly there’s nothing to stop the club confirming/denying the LT article from last week which stated the club had received these funds. As we know though, communication is not the club’s strongest point… (Did Elliott check with the club before publishing?? Who knows? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️)
  11. Well no-one wants to sell us their players for 50% of their market value so what else can we do?
  12. Locker room? That says it all
  13. He hardly put a foot wrong last night, even under extreme pressure in the last minutes of extra time. Very calm with good levels of concentration. Their much vaunted top goal scorer hardly had a kick although you could see he’s going to be a top player
  14. Sunday and not even Nixon can throw a loose bit of Rovers transfer tittle tattle. Surely we can't be waiting for the loan market already.
  15. I mean, we've all seen how 'insightful' ex and current footballers are as pundits - and that's with time to prepare. Banal platitudes might be optimistic. Let's say a player does kick off in the heat of the moment - what does that achieve beyond titillating the redtop crowd? It's a terrible idea with little to no redeemable qualities. Just another step in transforming sport into pantomime.
  16. I appreciate that players were missing, like Delap, but only 4 of the starting England U21 side were from a top 5 side. Of those four, Quansah and Harvey Elliott might be dropping down a bit soon (albeit both possibly still at Champions League level). A sign that these young English players are finding it hard to make the grade at the very top of the Premier League? Though, perhaps, that is part of their strength, with more humility and desire to work together.
  17. ...Errrr yeah,swiftly moving on!😲 Enjoyed Alanis Morissette...great voice.
  18. Quansah reminds of Ferdinand. Good ball playing centreback
  19. I'd say a holocaust is a bit more hate filled than some people chanting against it. And yes that absolutely has it's place at a music festival. Sort yourself out, you're on the wrong side of history here lad.
  20. I'd like to see Cresswell stay abroad
  21. I'm sure Phillips is quite happy with his pay packet since that, in football, is what's important to him. This is such a distasteful "rule". As if the big boys needs more help rounding up (stealing) talent.
  22. Hinshelwood looked like a midfielder playing fullback.Fair play to him for playing in an unaccustomed position. Regarding Cresswell, he’s a very good stopper style centre half but I’m not sure he has the ball playing ability top Premier League clubs like in their centre halves. It’ ll be interesting to see if he signs for one. Quansah is a class act, if Liverpool had any sense they’d be holding on to him.
  23. Lee Carsley should have been given the full England job.
  24. Raise them to cock up their contracts and lose em for nowt.
  25. Livramento is a natural a right back who played sometimes at left back. Hinshelwood who played left back is centre midfielder by trade. Cresswell is being linked with PL clubs today. Quansah is off to Bayer Leverkusen
