  2. Take it on trial and then tell them to cancel. They'll offer you a dirt cheap price. Rinse and repeat. Has cost me less than a tenner in total for last 12 months!
  3. Strong message to the owners what a real owner looks like - B.
  4. And last time I looked in that picture it was Brittain beside him
  5. Song lyrics,? Not a clue what you're on about Apparently we've been Flying Gestede to see a man in Brussels, Who's 6 ft 4 and full of muscles
  6. thats not britain,it`s mahktar, last time i looked brittain was white and not 6"3๐Ÿ™‚
  7. Of course he'll keep training with Rovers. He needs his pre-season just like the rest. He'll go when the transfer is done and dusted.
  8. Try this https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url=<URL> then paste page url in to it and itโ€™s should remove paywall
  9. Exactly. Re-investing the loose change from his already budgeted for wage on a lower paid cheap player is more akin to how they operate here.
  10. https://www.printfriendly.com Paste the url of the LT story into the aboveโ€ฆ
  11. As said many times, the โ€˜governing bodiesโ€™ and leagues of English football are purely competition organisers, nothing else. They donโ€™t โ€™safeguardโ€™ the game one iota, as long as all the teams turn up 46 times, theyโ€™re happy.
  12. https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Championship/Blackburn+Rovers#google_vignette Just use this
  13. Bit like the rest of flanks.. and the board Sigh
  14. Does anyone bother paying for LT? Every article I click on these days is unreadable because of their paywal.. apart from scrolling through our constant chat (no complaints, I love our forum!) any good /reputable pages to keep an eye on for Rovers news? Not that there will be news I bet
  15. Sheffield Wednesdayโ€™s problems are growing. Looks like minutes from meetings are being withheld from fans for some reason, just like at Ewood.
  16. I stand corrected. He seemed quite safe when he first started playing for us but was one he really seemed to get forward when JDT-ball was working. For some reason I thought he arrived a year earlier.
  17. val likes his players over 6 foot and to press the ball, reckon he`s going all long ball this season, pointless to try and bomb down the flanks if we don`t have the players to do it,long ball to kargbo/de neve running behind the full back will be the go to play,iv`e nothing against it tbh,my main concern is we have to small a squad to play the pressure game week after week
  18. Not sure I agree but you might be spot on - that said his experience could be invaluable. Inevitably we are taking calculated risks. We canโ€™t compete for proven talent in its prime so has to be older, like walker, potentially injury prone (Hartmann and Tuanzabe) or unproven kids with perceived potential (Koleosho when we signed him). I doubt Iโ€™ll have anything to gloat about in 6 months or all season though - even if Walker proves you wrong on every point Thanks for the heads up ๐Ÿ˜‰.
  19. Mowbray wasn't here when Brittain signed. He was always good on the ball ,excellent that season for Barnsley when they made the top 6 under ismael
  20. Wonder if Alebiosu will be used on the RW if Miller comes in at RB.
  21. Losing Brittain does mean that right flank would be toothless going forward, definitely need a right winger.
  22. Mowbray bought a raw Brittain. JDT got him playing one-twoโ€™s, first time passes, running off the ball and getting into the box. Eustace got him defending better. Its a good example of a player absorbing the best bits from each coach heโ€™s worked under.
  23. Reinvesting a portion of profit on a player who has potential and is younger seems far too sensible.
