  1. Past hour
  2. They had to finish early at 2pm as loading all the european lower leagues at once on Football Manager was too much for their laptop and it overheated Never fear though, Pasha got us a great deal on a super new laptop for Davesortsitout4U on ebay, he has 83% positive feedback, so its looking good 😉
  3. Swiss 3rd tier….hell be back on our radar soon!
  4. In 40 years of supporting this Club I have never felt so distant from it. Not remotely bothered by the result, not at all bothered about the prospect of going down. Couldn't care less about who leaves or who signs. The scum bags at the top of the tree have done this to me. I absolutely resent everyone connected to the Venkys other than the coaching staff and players who I feel sorry for. The owners, Suhail and Gestede need to get the hell out of our Club before I start to enjoy it again. Unfortunately I can't see that happening for some time yet.
  5. Priceless defenders of the realm as usual... 'Unsold tickets have to go on the team bus so they can be given back and sold on the day' er... there are no sales on the day ! 'Remaining tickets have to be give back to the home club so they can sell them to their fans' ...somehow for this fixture at that club i don't think there'll be any need for that unless i'm missing something. By the way given the nudges to all digital tickets non of it makes any sense at all.
  6. Palace live on C5 19:30 (KO 20:00).
  7. Ha ha, you should have been like me and only good enough for Sunday League/Pub League, no problem to getting to Saturday lunch kick offs, except for Friday night beer. Yes my name is Chaddy as well but I must stress I am No Relation 🤦‍♂️
  8. quick phone call to check on baradjis knee then off home by 10.30am,lovely jubbly
  9. By all accounts our recruitment team have had another busy in the office !🤣🤣
  10. Today
  11. Just another way of putting 2 fingers up to the Rovers fans !
  12. Desperate to order one but can’t afford til December as we’re a one-income family atmo :’(
  13. Are we trusting me to have got everything right? Sounds dangerous 😁😁
  14. The admins should pin that as "the story so" far at the top of this thread 😉
  15. You’re welcome, I’m glad it made sense because as I wrote it I wasn’t sure it was going to! 😁
  16. Just a quick addition, the Venkys were given the necessary permissions under the old legislation on 6/4/2022 (for £23 million) and 26/5/2022 (for £14 million). The new legislation came into force on 22/8/2022. That’s 3/4 months when the above sums could have been sent without hindrance.
  17. Thankyou mate genuinely appreciate that, makes alot more sense now. (Or not, in our case🤣 ) Thanks
  18. further proof to me that we`re f****d and will likely be going down
  19. The original court case was instigated by the Venkys as a result of the restrictions placed on them because of the Directorate of Enforcement investigation. Under the current legislation, this investigation means they need a No Objection Certificate from the Directorate before they can send monies overseas. The Venkys believe, in respect to the sum covered in the original writ, that the No Objection Certificate the State Bank of India had issued was sufficient (as this is what was required under the old legislation). Their bank disagreed and insisted on the certificate from the Directorate who then refused to issue one - hence the court case which (unbelievably some would say) is still yet to be heard. In terms of this case, I think the best ( but unlikely) result for us (the fans) is the judge removing all restrictions as this removes any excuses the Venkys have regarding them no longer funding us sufficiently. In terms of the investigation, if they’re found guilty they will be fined a sum which is probably small change to them. It’s been mentioned many times before that their reputation (ha!) is very important to them so I think our best hope is they’re found guilty and the press ‘steps up’ and causes them plenty of bad publicity. Whether this would be sufficient for them to think enough is enough - I sadly doubt it.
  20. It’s a difficult one there’s clearly ndas in play for the managers who have moved on - they won’t break those for obvious reasons as for players if the club haven’t did anything ‘wrong’ it’s defamation. Whilst most rovers would agree how the running of our club is pretty much shambolic they haven’t done anything ‘wrong’ cost cutting whilst we hate it and it’s obvious it’s their club they can choose to do that lack of contract offers or reasonable offers again they can choose to do that hiring of staff not qualified for the role again their club their choice even if they brought to light the harsh treatment of valued staff etc like Radcliffe did at United the scrutiny lasts about 2/3 days then forgot about it’s so hard
  21. Congratulations is fine all ‘football friends’ do it regardless of circumstances
  22. I don't see it as an attack on the club, more so the clubs hierarchy Personally I would prefer it if every player who left was more vocal about the shambles of a club we have become, draw some national attention to it, it might force the media, EFL & FA to look at things properly
  23. Yes. Did they congratulate him turning down a new contract though or did they congratulate him on his move with its subsequent wage bump?
  24. It's got EVERYTHING to do with being entitled when it comes to "professional" footballers and their agents.
