Leicester are three up after half an hour at Derby and had a goal wrongly disallowed too.

Nonsense. What would Toth have done differently for the Wrexham and Ipswich equalisers? I fully agree Toth can save shit that Pears probably wouldn’t, and over the course of the season it makes a difference, but the lack of clean sheets in the last two games would have happened with those goals regardless of who was in the nets. -

I have no doubt that the biggest factor giving Wednesday hope is our home record (as it would to most teams). It's going to be an albatross around our necks until we get some wins in the board. Hedges is undoubtedly going to be a huge miss and it might be opportune for Ismael to revert to a back four and bring Ribeiro back at full back which will allow us an extra man in midfield or even further up the pitch. In doing so we would lose a lot of Alebiosu's attacking prowess but I think it would give us more balance. -
The Premier League as gone forever. The Venkys have dismantled the clubs structure beyond repair.. The end is not in sight for our repulsive owners, unfortunately!

The rain has just started ☔ -
humiliated by the weakest australian team since the mid 80`s,all this 20/20 shite and the daft 100 to blame imo
- Today

And we can still cling on to the fact that we've won it more recently than that mob up the road.
-
Bring them back home before it gets worse, just admit we're nowhere in the same class as the Aussies.
-
It also relies on those other teams topping their groups, and then theres a round of 32 which will have plenty of crap in there too. In the past weve been fortunate with results in other groups.
-
That's our potential route though.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce91x2pdelno Rochdale move 2 games to Stanley to put in a new drainage system after postponements. Our groundsman said ours needed doing, nahhhh, non-league clubs ahead of us. Sad state when we are checking weather forecasts (even tonhue in cheek) as a Championship club.
-
Lets top the group first, before we start worrying about future opponents.
-
Don’t wish your life away. Next May will only be 98 years since our last FA Cup win.
-
I hope they’re embarrassed, I know they won’t be.
-
Its like football. You can have 1 or 2 mavericks you let play however, but you cant have 11 with no accountability. We are so inflexible.
-
Getting out to shots we don’t need to be having a go at, yet again. Arrogance was about right, tbf. We’re beating ourselves, here.

That is the bar for any backup keeper at this level, with the exception of a few more monied up clubs I have no issue with Pears as a backup, he is almost certainly better than whoever replaces him when he leaves. Where I would have a problem, is if/when Toth is sold, Pears is touted as the new first choice -
Over 102 years since we won it. Growing up in the 60's I'd never have believed we wouldn't have won it again by now. Several semi-finals but never that last step. I don't expect to see us win it now nor ever see us in the Premier League again. lIfe's a bitch.
