  1. Past hour
  2. I think the Championship is where they stall out unless Reynolds wants to throw A LOT of money at the problem - but as a player you'd definitely rather be at Wrexham than Rovers these days.
  3. He asked for Batth and Weimann. He didn't ask for Dennis...
  4. Piling into a random pub that was packed to the rafters with people who would usually never set foot in there to watch Rovers play on a dodgy feed. Those were the days.
  5. Hopefully they have to pay three times the total amount they've sent over here since 2010.
  6. No need to be sorry. If I can help I will, if I can’t I’ll say so. 👍
  7. Yep, it's already starting. The blame now lies with Batth for "demanding" a 2 year contract. And again, spot on with dropping in another name to make things seem busy. No doubts those talks would "stall" as they have for that other defender we were in "advanced talks" with. I have no doubts that Waggott will have shown Suhail the ropes when it comes to feeding lines out to Nixon.
  8. Sorba Thomas - remember him? - playing well for Wales against Belgium tonight Just signed a contract at Stoke
  9. I'd give them a hand throwing all their shit into a skip when they're leaving. I'd even raise a leg to boot them up the arse on the way out.
  10. Too much passing of the ball forward for my liking. I found myself missing the regular interplay between the centre halves
  11. Wrexhams current squad isn’t good enough for promotion to the premier league. A lot will depend on who they actually sign
  12. There's a tonne of appeal. A club with ambitious plans, promoted three years in a row, has global exposure and willing to spend. They have a better chance at promotion than us and will be nowhere near the bottom half of the table.
  13. Hard to know JDT played very open leaving the defence exposed quite often in matches. Think batth suited/suits a more structured set up
  14. Today
  15. If we'd have signed Batth initially when JDT wanted him, would we have gone up?
  16. This is also likely to be the reason for their reluctance to pay the bond, even at 50%.
  17. Fascinating that Eustace was supposed to have departed due to unhappiness with the players brought in but seems determined to hoover them up for Derby .......
  18. Can’t blame batth for wanting two year security financially and given his performances last year his stock will have increased. Having said that he’s 35 in sept ideally he’d accept 1 year with us with an option but he holds all the cards
  19. I’d offer batth a 2 year deal, 2nd year being on reduced terms and more likely a back up, unless he has a great season again. on the other hand if I was him I’d pick Derby. and anyone hating on Wrexham, they’d beat us to most players in a head to head battle as it currently stands. shows how much of a fucked up club we’ve become.
  20. I have been accused of getting excited about what’s happening with the court case. Excited may be a touch over the top, but I’m certainly filled with hope. Research like this is the very reason for this and add to that, what I have posted about a counter claim and there is certain plenty of hope there.
  21. We supposedly wanted a left footed centre back before it became clear that Batth is likely to leave.
  22. And so Nixon begins peddling the company line, seems Suhail was his in, not Waggott. Batth will not resign, the post just proves we are trying to find a way of blaming him. As for we'll bring in Nade if he doesn't, the usual smokescreen to make it seem like we are being productive. They're not even comparable players, Nade is 8 years younger and left footed, they fill a completely differently roles in the squad. (Now if we do keep Batth and sign Nade, that is a productive move, so can guarantee we won't)
  23. That seems incredibly similar to the model of 10-15 years ago where we forced out all of our proven experienced players and got in a load of random Portuguese lads....
  24. The ED have a 95 per cent success rate when they bring a case so odds very much against the V's
  25. they`ll spend a lot of money on better players who will keep them in the league, can`t see them ever challenging for promotion though
