  1. Past hour
  2. Henriksson as seen yesterday will be playing/competing for the 10 role travis goes - baradji will be in he’s been their number 1 target agreed we should want more up top but going by his interview itl b a right winger only and any outgoings replaced
  3. Axel doesn't play in the midfield 2, he plays further forwards * to me, he does look like he could do a job as a box to box midfielder in the 2, but that's not where he has played in the past, and his game seems suited to pressing from the front
  4. For all the talk of Baradji and a deal on the table for a while, they suddenly pulled out another midfielder in Axel for that last esc slot. Ismael clearly wants more than one signing and I'd wager he'd prefer them up top. We've lost Weimann/Dolan/Dennis/Woodrow/ACD who were all attacking options - whilst the last 3 didn't work out, they were still options. Now we have zero options. Reading between the lines, Trav will go. Tronstadt will stay until next year. Add Tavares, Axel, Montgommery and Forshaw and that is 5 for 2 slots. 3 unproven but we have options. I think whatever small portion of the Travis money is available will go on front players - probably loans. I'd be very surprised if it goes on Baradji.
  5. What about BC who everyone is raving about? Not much investment there lately.
  6. Unless I've missed it West Brom haven't brought in £45 million in player sales since 2022. They've also had to carry the legacy of a PL wage bill. So whatever advantage their bigger attendances provide I would expect to be wiped out by the above.
  7. I Was a bit angry yesterday with what I saw in the moment, after processing overnight and calming down I’ve still got the same outcome, we’re shit, and most of the new players are shit.
  8. 3 - 4 - 3 Seems the only way to play Miller & Alebiosu, One problem it means no cover for Alebiosu. Think they'll settle into a 4 3 3 Tóth Miller Hyam McLaughlin Ribeiro Tavares (Henriksson or Hedges) (Cantwell or Forshaw) New Ohashi Kargbo
  9. Pears would have let in at least one more of their chances, possibly two. I don’t think it was a penalty, but a free kick just outside their penalty area and possibly a red card. I think we missed Cantwell, and dare I say it Buckley.
  10. If Kargbo is considered to be our best player then we really are screwed. Yep. And as we hadn't taken possession of the ball when the ref blew, the defender was the one who had played the ball last he was right to give it to them. For the Miller one, he waited before he blew, so they had time to take possession and break.
  11. Good and honest write up Parsons but its comment's like this in bold that make me sad and frustrated. An exceptance of mediocrity from long standing supporter's just goes to highlight the general malaise and apathy that has enveloped the Club on all level's. It's so damn sad to read.
  12. I’ll go with: No extensions, some options taking up, others not.
  13. Ah, yeah that sounds quite key. Didn't realise they had lost those 3.
  14. It is pointless but it certainly hasn’t sailed it’s been their number 1 target all summer
  15. I guess the key is finding a way to turn the pressure up to the point they see opening the books as their best option.
  16. Chaddy said he wouldn't get a ST if Coyle was appointed in the run up to it, then changed his mind a day later when he was appointed.
  17. Maybe not on that one, as he’s ’a Dingle’. Which is why he wouldn’t want a very good manager, who’s from, er, Kettering, as our manager.
  18. The rule is if two players from the same side go down to injury at the same time then they stay on the pitch after treatment.
  19. Pointless if he's not going to be fit. Think that one has sailed.
  20. So what is your view of these owners and their fifteen year tenure?
  21. Not really Matty. I have a far more nuanced view of modern day football that goes much wider than just our club.
  22. I'll bet when Coyle was appointed manager and we were all spewing Chaddy said " he's got experience of promotion to the EPL, don't dismiss him before he's had a chance to show what he can do, let's calm down and wait and see". I haven't the energy to look it up but what's the odds?
  23. Correct me if I’m wrong, Parson, but you seem to have little issue with the owners. It’s just ‘well, we were spoilt with Jack and this is just how it is’? Is that a fair reflection?
  24. Careful Glen or you'll be sounding like Nicko!!
