  1. Past hour
  2. Seems like it’s a crowd pleaser, the beauty of our kit is it’s hard to actually mess it up although we’ve managed it a few times in the past. I wonder what the worst selling kit of recent times has been, the light blue Zebra one wasn’t great but different enough to appeal to some I bet edit my least favourite of recent years was 2 years ago with the weird light blue collar and totally shit sponsor
  3. Went at 6pm. No queues, straight in & the staff were very helpful. The kit is lovely, I prefer it to last seasons rip off of the ‘95 kit. Fingers crossed for a special edition one off shirt for the actual anniversary but no complaints from me on this one - the colour of blue spot on ⚪️🌹🔵
  4. Any plan for a Special 150th publication Parsonblue?
  5. Big following from the Duchy, probably up to 1,000. 3,000 on the waiting list for Argyle season tickets.
  6. Perfectly summarised. Still people don't recognise that we are in the midst of an existential crisis under these owners, there is no future, no growth, no plan, no ambition, at the very best we tread water under a zombie administration making a competent job of whatever resources they chuck our way until either the staff/players get fed up and go elsewhere or our wonderful owners smash it all to bits again because they feel like it. Every day, week, month, year this regime continues its poisonous grip on BRFC is simply more and more time and distance we fall behind just about any other club with competent fit ad proper ownership. Ultimately there will be nothing left, only by then it will be too late to recover from.
  7. Clearly a large number of supporters would disagree with you looking at the photograph outside the Jack Walker Stand tonight.
  8. It's on C5 at 19:00. Kick off isn't till 20:00. Some games clash with the U21 tournament.
  9. Venkys would rather be Kings of the Ashes of BRFC and Ewood Park than leave via the back door and hand it to someone else, they'll drag the club into the gutter and hollow it out until it scarcely resembles a professional club rather than just admit defeat and sell it. The myth that there's no interested people out there, based on a curious blend of Stockholm syndrome and the Walker Trust's failings almost 20 years ago, has been dismantled many times over the last few years. Vile people only interested in their own egos and power rather than the greater good.
  10. all the contract renewals should have been sorted out last season, now look at the mess we are in,******* bunch of chancers and imbeciles running the show
  11. Some credit is due for having them for sale much earlier this year. The shirt is nice enough, looks pretty smart to me. I was expecting something a little more radical, guess I'll wait to see how much imagination they have later in the year.
  12. Batth to Derby sounds like it could happen don't believe Travis will end up there though and definitely not Dolan
  13. Today
  14. I didn't buy one for myself but my granddaughter got the same size as last season. She actually had last season's with her and it was exactly the same.
  15. How do they size up compared to last year?
  16. I would worry that even if we do offer Trav/Tronstad/Brittain etc contracts at market rate they would still want to leave because of the shitshow at board level. The players aren't stupid and I maintain the Eustace situation will have woken them up from any last vestiges of hope while Suhail and Venkys are in charge. We only have ourselves to blame, not only for not offering contracts until now, but also for creating an environment that any sensible/good player would want to leave.
  17. It was really simple to buy them actually. I queued outside for twenty minutes for the 5 o'clock slot and once inside it was explained that there is a rack for trying shirts on but otherwise it was a short wait to buy them from the four staff manning the tills. As I went out at 5.15 there was quite a bottleneck so I don't know how that will effect later slots. If each time slot is as busy they will shift a lot today.
  18. there are reasons that plymouth have never been in the top division,it`s in the middle of nowhere, hence you will always struggle to attract top players and rugby is massive in the west country/cornwall,if was`nt for the pathetic rfu stangling all life out of the game, cornwall would have a side in the premier league
  19. Posted this over a fortnight ago. Seen nothing to suggest this will not happen. Think Batth would even take a 1 year deal with Derby over Rovers - we didn't cover ourselves in glory with him a couple of seasons ago. Anyone who thinks the mood music around the Rovers is anything but poor and depressing really does need to give their head a wobble.
  20. I find that highly unlikely, they'd definitely have gone down his fat kisser.
  21. Lets put it this way, some poor b'stard bought that destitute absolute crock of shit Football Club so their is hope for us all!
  22. Waggott left a box of pork scratchings in his office.
  23. Last weeks signing will be replacing Dolan on the payroll on low wages and the fee over the course of the contract will amount to no more than about 150k per year which will be covered by Dolans compensation. An easy low cost signing that fits the current model. I never said they'd offered Batth a 2 year contract it's you that has kept parroting that, i told you the quote i read from Nixon said Rovers had offered 1 yr but he wanted 2 and Derby would match that. Nowhere has it been said hes had an official offer just as yesterday YOU said Rovers have offered Travis a contract yet nowhere has that been said that he has. All that has been said is the club are speaking to his reps there is no mention of an actual offer or of him turning it down. It's all in the wording.
  24. Good potential at Plymouth to build the crowds if they got them going upwards year on year. That's why these investors go for the likes of them plus there is a new story to create with little expectation of past glories because there are non, it's all new and shiny and not poisoned by anything. Besides that they could also play the hedge fund Russian roulette model they do at Burnley were you fill a small ground, keep going up and down and running of big debt then trading players and paying dividends out of the parachute/tv income.
  25. And the rose stem running through the shirt
  26. It is reported he wants a 2 year contract and Rovers only want to offer 1 year deal which I feel is the right decision here and I wouldn't be against an option for a second year depending on fitness, injuries and playing times. I would be offer him Travis, Tronstad and Brittain fair offers but ones that reflect their important to the squad and the roles into the team by making them higher earners at the club but not offering 30k a weeks wages its was yourself you said Derby had offered a 2 year contract which if they had, he would have sign that by now, he hasn't. Rovers from reports have offered a straight 1 year contract to him which he hasn't accepted cos he was a second year contract which I would do as an option by on the factors I posted above. Who says we are waiting for the budget to be set and if that was the case how did we make a signing last week?
