Who'd have thought that a shirt worn in one random early January Championship game, that ditches the famous blue and white halves and adopts what looks at distance more like a Bolton or PNE kit, hasn't flown off the shelves at £80 a time just after Christmas. Once again...if they were keen on doing a 'special' 150th anniversary kit it should have been revealed and released in the summer and worn all season long, not just in one game. And if they'd put some effort into it then it could have been a big seller. But no, the brains trust decide that we are going to have FOUR different kits for the season, totally unnecessary and only release the anniversary one months AFTER all the others, and crucially AFTER the anniversary events and AFTER Christmas. Beyond imbecilic down at that place.

Not really surprising - I literally wouldn't accept one as a gift. It's an insult. I'd either give it away again or chuck it in the bin. Even if you're not as opposed to it on principle as I am - then there's the price. As with engraving the wrong date on the replica FA Cup it's hard to see how the Club can seemingly get everything SO wrong. Unless they're doing it deliberately to either wind people up and/or drive them away.

Loved ones, jobs, friends, no spouse, no friends, no job, other hobbies, no hobbies. We're all different but what unites us is that we've all walked a well trodden path by those who passed down their torch and in some instances, passed away leaving loving memories and a core of those memories is Blackburn Rovers, so it isn't just football, it's an intrinsic part of our daily living. It isn't something you can just forget about til next weekend. It's Football, our National Sport to which the world is now flooded with its gigantic presence. Its everywhere on the planet now. Who was at the forefront? Us. Blackburn Rovers amongst a few other old boys. We've been lucky to be able to see us standing at 150 years old. We are so lucky and that's because of the fans. Our families, our friends. It's their history too

I think Toth is a fantastic keeper and unless we are selling Pears, bringing in another keeper is just going to take up a space in the 25 man squad. Other positions are more of a priority.

Ive heard the phrase "I want a Club to be proud of" a number of times from Herbie and others on here recently. I dont think I would even put it that high. Id like to see a Club that is TRYING. Everyone makes mistakes and doesnt get everything right. Nor is there a divine right to success. However if I thought I saw a Club that I thought was once again acting in good faith, TRYING to win football matches, TRYING to be successful and didnt appear to view it's supporters like something they'd just stepped in on the pavement................... Id take that compared to what we have now.

Thank you to everyone who has engaged with this post. I really didn't intend to bring people down, so I'm sorry if that's the case for anybody. But, not for the first time, I've been reminded of how many passionate and dedicated supporters of this club are here on this site. I've appreciated reading each of your posts on this thread and I hope for you all (as well as, selfishly, for myself!) there appears some light on the horizon through a change in Blackburn Rovers' ownership. Because, for many of us, the club is clearly entwined with so many different aspects of our purpose, families, lives, and history.

Try doing some individual research instead of generic AI which always throws up the easiest to find options first.

No. We are just ridiculous at accumulating keepers. Just not at keeping the good ones. Well...ridiculous at that too, just in a different way.

I would class Kahn & Barrett as superfluous, neither should have been given new contracts Goddard & Honor are injured Each scholarship year group tend to have one or 2, Wolsoncroft & Thompson were last season, Holt came through in this years group. Next year will probably be Krajewski & Garside. That's not an issue at U18 level, but they do seem to be frightened of cutting them loose at U21 level, maybe in part as keepers tend to develop later than outfield players
