So we have an Academy lad (Pratt) who is reluctantly drafted in as an absolute last resort after we've tried and failed with Ryan Hedges in that position. Said Academy prospect absolutely excels and doesnt let us down once. However all of a sudden he's discarded because another Club wants their player to get some game time. Said loanee scores an own goal within 3 minutes of his debut and basically looks like he's never seen a football pitch before. And we're apparently obliged to play him all season otherwise we'll be hit with penalty clauses. Isn't that a wonderfully quintessential Venky's Rovers thing?

There's just no way on this planet that any half decent head coach picks De Neve over two far more experienced players in Pickering or Ribeiro. De Neve and Henriksson are League Two AT BEST. He is absolutely trying to get the sack by continuously selecting these players.

All Birmingham fans could say about him was how slow he is. Not sure Ismael has a clue about his team or set up really. I know we have a lot of injuries but he’s somehow squeezed De Neve back in, and continues to plod along with Hendrikson. It’s like a lucky dip with him.

Absolutely. Interestingly, looking back at Coyle's results from that season, I don't think he ever had a run of 1 win in 12. 2 in 12 yes, but never worse than that. Ismael simply has to go.
