  1. Past hour
  2. Where's Chaddy when you need him? Love to hear everyone's view again tonight on De Neve? Thought Axel looked better tonight, than Saturday, I think he'll be a decent signing. Cantwell looked decent off the bench. Buckley back in the cold felt odd.
  3. These two awful performances have given us chance to see the whole squad in action. I just went back and looked at the squad we went down with in 2017. If those two sides (2017 and 2025) were playing each other this weekend, I don't think there would be much between them. That side we went down with had 12 goals for Graham and 10 for Sam Gallagher in it, I can't see us having two players who hit double figures this season. Grim.
  4. VI is a dead man walking, he will be the first to cop it off the fans, I feel sorry for him in a way. He is poor manager and should never have been appointed, a good six months at Barnsley during Covid is best effort in England.. Gestede will follow next summer, leaving poor old Pasha alone again.. VI resigning in the first of the season, might be the best for all concerned!
  5. Another very strange situation with him. Just finding his feet at non league Chorley several rungs below where even Bradford are then hooked, brought back here and in the squad. Odd and looking increasingly stupid.
  6. Replacement's already in the building. Forshaw. 😂
  7. judging by mahktars performance tonight,id`e be on the phone offering him to any side in saudi and then replace him with a 6 foot journeyman who can hold and head a football,he was truly terrible tonight
  8. Only team in the world to finish 7th and on the verge of playoffs twice, and each time then sell/rip out the spine of that team rather than building on it.
  9. He does need to do more than he did last year but on tonights performance, only someone with a specific dislike of him would repeatedly target him for criticism. He was levels above the crap around him.
  10. Definitely some promising signs but Travis is a proven quality Championship midfielder and our captain. When he goes, we need a proper replacement. We wont get one but we need one. Tavares can hopefully push as 3rd choice and beyond that, the cupboard is bare. Could roll up Buckley, Forshaw and Montgomery into 1 and wouldnt have a Championship midfielder.
  11. Just back from the game. Thats the worst rovers side ive ever seen. Apart from Tavares and Miller there is no one of any quality. Absolute relegation fodder on that showing I'm afraid. Slowly being run into the ground. Replace anyone of value and experience with unknowns from foreign leagues shows in the team now. Henriksoon looks an absolute plodder. Could barely control a ball. Young lads not fit for first team yet. I think there must be something rotten going on in the background. I know we probably dont offer the best wages but it seems any established players want out of the club now. We shouldn't be loosing established players like we are to the likes of Derby.
  12. I'm under the impression due to bits said in the past by TM and bits in the press that Rovers contracts are heavily bonus related in order to incentivise. Maybe some of those sites use that in their 'estimated' guesswork.
  13. Build with Baath and Weimann? They’ll be lucky to still be playing this time next year.
  14. Tavares and Cantwell looked a level above everyone on the pitch.
  15. I disagree completely on that point sg - regardless of quality you would expect a decent coach to be able to set the team up to be motivated and difficult to beat as a bare minimum. How often do we concede goals in the first 20 mins under VI? It must be more often than not, and quite often it's the first ten minutes and out of those, sometimes more than one!
  16. Need a striker desperately. Jamie Vardy is a free agent?? 😂
  17. I can only go by what’s stated on the sites as Iv no other information elsewhere.
  18. As I said, based on tonight’s display, Tavares is a much better footballer than Trav. The key for the remainder of the window is to sign enough players not to have to rely on Michalski, Montgomery and Tyjon. Could become the Wild West if we get bids for Sonny and Hyam too.
  19. Oh Pasha will be fumbling for something to distract the "support the lads" types
  20. Their aim this season won't be to get promoted. It will be to significantly improve on last years' near relegation and then crucially BUILD towards a future promotion push with a plan, philosophy and structure. All we are building for is League One.
  21. I'd rather say we're a bit too imaginative with our signings. To believe that we don't need proven Championship players is plain stupidity from Rudy. If Ismael subscribes to the same view hi is simply not a very clever manager.
  22. I said it at the start of the summer that offloading these players like Travis, Brittain, Hyam and Tronstad was the only 'ambition' for the summer and between them they'd eke out another £5-6 million of cash. They've obviously pocketed the season ticket cash first and brought in a few cheap and cheerful signings to hoodwink people into thinking all is well here but after dealing with the Brittain departure and banking that cheque they've moved on to the Travis offload and are really cranking it up now -using Ismael's post match press conferences to issue a 'come and get him' on Saturday after WBA and then tonight with his 'transfer request'. Make no mistake there is as much pushing here from Rovers' end as anything else this has been priority #1 all summer long. Anyone thinking we've made serious efforts to keep him or that this has suddenly taken us by unfortunate surprise in mid-August I feel are being played for fools. And once they've done this one they've another few weeks to get to work on the last couple. Maybe not so easy those though.
  23. Hot take. Travis and Tronstad reason we got into playoffs. The 2 injured coincided with our fall from grace
