  1. Past hour
  2. Norwich in front at Wrexham.
  3. Norwich winning also atm. 2 points now the gap as it is.
  4. Vi is totally logical in his summary. Soulless, monotone and uninspiring. Carrick has worked miracles in three days at United. The players clearly enjoyed playing for him. He was available as a championship manager. Shame. Players need to be inspired, Eustace had that about him. Making average players feel better about themselves.
  5. Yep that's the strength of it. He's not even a fire fighter like Eustace or a steady Eddie like TM he had all the cv of a short term unemployed, cheap roll of the dice gaffer. Guys like him are usually short term as his back catalogue suggests but these lot saw fit to give him 3+ years. Which quite honestly stinks to high heaven unless there are some get out clauses for both sides.
  6. Didnt look like a pretty passer to me.
  7. Agree, but as the next home game is the boycott game, I suspect the Rovers fans attending will happily sit on their hands, even if Rovers lose.
  8. Gestede & Pasha need fucking pelting at the next home game! They should be getting a boat load of shit for 90 mins as the bare minimum.
  9. That pillock, shouldn’t be washing the kits even. A total shyster.
  10. Pompey winning. They’re now level on points with us and have a game in hand…
  11. If the owners were ambitious we’d never have hired Ismael. His record speaks for itself. Get him and Rudy out of here now! The enthusiasm and passion of the fans is definitely depleted, and seeing socials reaction patience too
  12. 10-20 years experience generally required for the job. We handed to a bloke who had less than 12 months removed from his playing career and no experience at all.
  13. Little bit harsh. At least Axel works. Vale looked disinterested.
  14. Early days for Cashin and the worst possible start but i get Grant Hanley vibes, brainless but will throw himself in front of stuff in the box. Which is pretty much what Brum fans said.
  15. Bazaar is right. It's like we got bartered into it by some shifty vendor when we had only intended to buy a jacket.
  16. Val is the least of our problems, but we may as well throw the dice and get rid now. A pragmatist like Rowett would give us the best chance of survival now. Having said that, there doesn't appear to be the slightest pressure on the manager as we are not a normal/functioning club.
  17. Four points above us now. Yet some on here think they’re definitely one we’ll finish above.
  18. Maybe we can ask the league to postpone all our games until we've got players back from injury (and the weather improves so the pitch can cope). That way we will be fine.
  19. Charlton winning v 9 men so that's one sorted
  20. New pitch or new gaffer, time for a vote....
  21. Le Plant Pot: Valerien Ismael 'not worried' about #Rovers situation because of the players that are missing.
  22. I didn't expect to win today, but our best hope was frustrating Ipswich and getting a 0-0. Cashin literally ruined any chance of that happening 3 mins into his league debut. What I'm most annoyed about today is why Cashin or Maclaughlin started ahead of O'Riordan who was excellent away at Hull City. If we are contractually obliged to play Cashin at the expense of our own young players then we deserve everything we get.
  23. Ismael isnt the problem here. The problem is the owners simply have no aims for the club, no ambition. If they were to be ambitious and had the mindset that failure won’t be tolerated, it would spread right across the board. They could have that drive for us but they don’t. They can do something about it but they won’t. The happy clappers who support the Venkys are just plain blind. Yes they support us in some ways financially but it’s utterly pointless. What use is it when they otherwise don’t give a damn? There’ll be more and more posts like Devon Rovers.
