  1. Past hour
  2. A lot of revisionism about Mowbray. He got us promoted from League one at first attempt, which he deserves a lot of credit for, but that’s it really, for me. He talked the club down and allegedly tried to hold us back from going for promotion. Never go back, that equally applies to Mowbray too.
  3. If the club insist on keeping Val and Val insists on his formation then surely we need a LWB tomorrow. A late prem loan where we pay 4% of the salary in exchange for guaranteed game time would suit Pasha and Rudy!
  4. Leonard re-posted a message where it was said he rejected a new contract, so it seems the club took that as a sign to cash in.
  5. What formation are we even planning for now? If we sign Cadamarteri we'll have four strikers, so you'd think 3-5-2 but even Ismael knows De Neve can't play wing-back on left, and in any case, why then pursue Afolayan who's a winger? If we are going back to 4-2-3-1 permanently why sign Cadamarteri who won't play behind Gudjohnson and Ohashi as 9? Or is Ohashi back-up to Cantwell as 10, with Morishita, Jorgenson and Afolayan competing on wings? It makes no sense even for us.
  6. Didn't keep us in the league last time!
  7. I think Rovers are in the 'fortunate' position in that despite the shambles enveloping Ewood Park, there are other clubs with their own problems who might just save us from the drop. Sheffield Wednesday are gone WBA in freefall and they look even worse since Ramsay was appointed Oxford have appointed a manager who contrived to take Luton down - doesn't augur well for them Leicester face a substantial points deduction Think the third relegation place is between Rovers, Oxford and Leicester.
  8. Duff is not a efl level manager, div 2 at best, loved him as a player but seems dumb as a box of dildos
  9. 8th I think you'll find, but regardless, I think it's a wind up anyway. If it is it worked judging by the reaction on here.
  10. I read that as "Borat". We've done worse.
  11. @RoversXtra claiming Cadamarteri in final stages on X, with the deal being worth £1m. Can't help but think we might aswell have kept Leonard if thats the case. Although looking at Cadamarteri in that Sheffield Wednesday team, it would he extremely harsh to dig him out for a lack of goals in that setup.
  12. At any club, such a ridiculous scenario would be immediately disregarded but this is Pasha / Gestede’s Blackburn Rovers ! Smart move, holding out until the summer to lose £0.8m for a player contributing nothing to our relegation battle.
  13. The not risking late strains and saving legs for the next match has repeatedly contributed to lost points so what is the bloody point. The risk v reward hasn't delivered trying to play it safe.
  14. Selling Alebiouso while staring down the barrel of relegation would be an act so stupid I cant even see our clowns doing it. The summer is only 4 months away, his value isnt going to decline, and we really really need him.
  15. The BRFCS Player of the Match in association with SUITS ME - theofficial Rovers debit card provider - is ADAM FORSHAW...⚪🔵 MOTM template.mp4
  16. Going through who scored it does seem Dapo has a decent amount of experience playing wide. Anyone know much about him? Can he beat a full back? Quick, tricky, strong? Since he went up to the Budesliga 1 his stats have been diabolical. Okay in Bundesliga 2, but not sure how that compares to the Championship. There are some absolutely massive clubs in B2 (Schalke, Hertha, Dusseldorf) so the quality might not be far off?
  17. Yep they should've gone for him when he said he was interested and that is following the ethos set down by Jack then John Wiliams. Blackburn Rovers needs a big name manager for several reasons, profile, crowds, media image, connections, lure of better players to a northern backwater etc. That's why they followed Souness with Hughes and him with Ince who ok that didn't work but they nipped it in the bud quick and got another in Allardyce. They cost money but there is way more chance of them delivering and success goes someway to paying for itself. Repeated failure costs more and more in the long run as these lot have found out. Lessons learned ? Not a chance but we've clearly seen why they really opted for Ismael because here it's all about what happens off the pitch and toeing that line.
  18. He looked fit enough to me to Finnish the game no sign of fatigue at all
  19. Something happening….EJ and AB haven’t posted all day despite some significant rumours
  20. Mowbray is not the answer !
  21. Forshaw cant last more than an hour, he either comes off at that point, or we don't start him and then bring him off the bench to consolidate whatever result we have in a team that wasn't made up of desperado journeymen, he would be ideal to bring off the bench for the last 20 games to help control a game when the team was 1-0 up
  22. 100% correct. Meanwhile we still have Ismael in charge so same decisions likely v SWFC which at some point will include De Neve.
  23. No for me. I wanted him much sooner than he went. He said all the right things to to the fans. Those last two seasons were a horrible watch.
