  1. Past hour
  2. Look at the Venkys v Indian government thread for the answers to this. There is no chance anything gets done soon, that french defender Elliot mentioned was just a smokescreen fed to him by the club to make it look like things are happening.
  3. Thanks for posting this. We look in serious danger of running out of money. For those interested, I have posted a snapshot below and invite comments as to who does and who doesn’t consider this to be an impediment to funding, legal or otherwise.
  4. Just wondering how much they've listened to Vals request at hitting targets early. Just feels like it's going to be same old same old but sorting the Hedges contract out early to satisfy the masses we all knowcthe outcome 🤣
  5. I like the first idea, symbolic for years to come.
  6. My ideas for the 150th were conceived 6 years ago and presented to the club: 1. Ask the council to twin Blackburn with Bilbao (we influenced the club, and the human geography between the areas is very similar, historical links, working class, trade etc). 2. Arrange mini tournament between ourselves, Southampton, Bilbao and Atl. Madrid. ‘The Fred Pentland Trophy’. 3. Flat rate £150 season tickets across all ages for home areas of the ground.
  7. The latest order from the hearing on Monday has been posted. The TLDR (but I may be wrong): Venky's want to send £4.9m to the club. It looks like Suhail sent a letter in March requesting this amount to cover contract and statutory obligations from April-June 2025. The court is allowing partial relief (50% bank guarantee instead of 100%) to facilitate urgent financial support, but keeping in mind the active investigation and national foreign exchange regulations. ED has filed a complaint with the 'Adjudication Authority'. The court will consider whether to remove need for bank guarantees at a future date. Next listed for 5 August 2025.
  8. Today
  9. So… any actual rumours? Jackson seems to think things are happening behind the scenes. VI clearly wants business done early so I would be expecting some movement soon. Anyone with any inside information? Unleaded I’m looking at you 🤣
  10. I'd be amazed if he was on more than 5k
  11. Yes I make multiple videos that have no weight behind them, I pluck out a name and say we are connected to them yes it's definitely me.... And I keep posting these annoying videos because if you look back its rather entertaining for folk at how ludicrous the suggestions are.
  12. 150 years of existence? Just because our owners are shit doesn't mean we have to be
  13. He must pay for fake ones or something, because that man is unwatchable.
  14. No it's that Roverseas dude who for some unknown reason has thousands of subscribers.
  15. Is this you making these? Is that why you keep posting these annoying videos?
  16. Not to detract from the hard work the coalition is doing to try to bring the importance of the MASSIVE 150 YEARS, IF the club fail in someway to commemorate the poignant milestone, What can we do as fans to really celebrate it? Has anyone had any thoughts and ideas on how we can really make it memorable in our own way? Regardless of what the club is doing could we do a 150 applause 150 seconds into the game (nearest to date)? March down BOLTON ROAD on our way to see the Blackburn Aces? Really turn out for it
  17. At absolute best, someone like Sunderland might take a punt on him as a squad player with him being cheap, and then they have a ready made championship for there probable relegation in 12 months.
  18. So he was on £325 per week when he was playing in the first team, no doubt with bonuses but it gives an idea of why they want the squad full of academy players. How much do we honestly think they offered him to sign again two years ago ? £3250.00 pwk, which is ten times his initial wage ? But would still be peanuts in Championship terms. Now think back to Lenihen, Nyambe etc.....
  19. Hi @glen9mullan and team (super work btw!) have you approached Newsnight to ask them to investigate? Doubt anything would necessarily materialise into a segment however they should, at the very least, try and contact Venkys and this would certainly get noticed. Even an exploratory email would get them to take note (you would have thought...) 20. He doesn’t need to get a PL gig to earn decent money, I.e the going rate for a decent Championship player.
  21. Exactly the same reasons as my father in law. Be interesting to see the sales figures across the Championship this summer after fans have now seen just how many games will be moved for/shown on TV.
