  1. Past hour
  2. You can force him to sign a document joining the Club but in reality if he doesn't want to play it's worthless. Like you say you'd have to try and flip him for a profit - or if there were no takers you wouldn't bother exercising the option. Either way there very little chance he's here in 12 months time imo. Either he flops and we dont want him or he excels and doesn't want us.
  3. He has literally signed a legal document stating he will move if the option is triggered, so can be "forced" In reality, if another club wants to sign him for more money, he signs for Rovers at the legally pre agreed price, for the legally pre agreed wage, & is then immediately sold. It is not that odd an occurrence
  4. If the player doesn't want to sign at the end of the loan period, whether it's because he's homesick or because there's interest from other Clubs, I dont see how you can force him. Bit like a player being under contract who wants to leave who's under contract but refuses to play. You can stop paying him, make him train with the reserves etc, but it's not much actual use to you.
  5. I see the regime has "done a job" on poor Elliott Jackson again this week. 'His sources' - aka the club - have told him it could be a deal worth Β£3 million Doesn't then take much for the moronic element of our support base to start clapping like seals at what a good deal our negotiators have secured (again, it doesn't actually matter as Β£1 million or Β£5 million makes no odds, it isn't going into transfers or improvements and we're signing a loan on less money) But nonetheless it's worked because any outrage over this deal dissipates when Jackson and his acolytes can applaud it as a 'good deal' The only party here getting a good deal is Derby, picking up a solid, experienced, fit as a fiddle captain of good character for next to nothing in modern terms, whilst we go with our begging bowl to the minor leagues of Europe signing a loanee who might not be good enough or fit enough for what is needed Its just horrible to watch it unfold. I feel ashamed at what this club has become, basically throwing prized valuable players out to the likes of Derby and Middlesbrough so the stooges can rip the squad up, hit their cost saving targets and do favours for their mates.
  6. Ribeiro was a free transfer, never on loan Sigurdsson wasn't technically a loan either as his contract with his Russian club was "paused" Armstrong was on loan before we bought him, but don't think there was an option Zeefuik had an option, that worked out well πŸ˜‰
  7. it`s harry leonard,he`s always injured
  8. Both of them signed permanently but on short term deals.
  9. Easy to forget we have billionaire owners, having spent about Β£5m in the same period that we've received circa Β£40m in players sales, lost 600+ games worth of championship experience this summer alone, & slashed player wage bill & the women's team. How lucky we were to have "an exciting summer" to look forward to!!
  10. Go in the home end, won't need to sit on your hands or avoid shouting when we score, because we're unlikely to score.
  11. Is he? I was under the impression they were trying to loan him out to save a few quid and had essentially frozen him out until he agrees to the loan
  12. The loan means Rovers have the option to sign him. Deal with club and terms with player agreed. The only way another club gets him is if Rovers don’t trigger the option.
  13. He doesn’t know does he? Another person being lied unless he’s been told to say that
  14. Siggurdson which wasn’t all that long ago and then we loaned Ribero before signing permanently
  15. The annoying thing is there will be plenty of room all over the ground , should just able to walk on at 1225.. It is pathetic !
  16. Yeah...although i say i didn't want to watch any headliner we half attempted to catch a bit of fatboy and prodigy midway through their sets but it was totally impossible to get anywhere near the main stage due to the chair people We're going tramlines and staying in a bnb its usually a pretty similar line up...that storm monday morning put me off going again 🀣
  17. We can probably sign him and sell him on, if he's a success.
  18. Again? It’s sad to see such a talent destroyed by injuries. Wonder if it’s a mental thing as well
  19. Yes. Because of that loose link, and the fact we can't sign a ESC player for the role. Folk just assuming.
  20. Someone didn't get the memo. Used to be a family club. Now it's a zombie club.
  21. Why has this Alofayan rumour snowballed so much? Not seen anything beyond a rumour along with about 14 other teams.
  22. Its a shame we have terrible set piece takers. Because hes so important in terms of leadership etc, and because hes going, his importance on the pitch is being underestimated. He might be average in terms of passing but he wins the ball back really well, he is athletic, he reads the game well and he helps to protect the defence well. Leaves a huge hole and it wont be filled if his replacement is doing rehab.
  23. If he's on loan for a year, does he actually take an ESC place?
  24. Id settle for someone who can take them Asking for both is probably asking for too much πŸ˜‰
