  1. Past hour
  2. Always thought Cirino looked a prospect
  3. No but I bet they’re itching to lower the wage bill and get rid of more experience and not invest the fee received!
  4. Fixed that for you. Matters not whether he leaves for money nor fair words. His leaving is a Travisty (pardon the pun).
  5. Do you think they are back peddling and negotiating another year?
  6. I might buy it, then sell it, then replace it with the hungry caterpillar and say I tried to buy a better one.
  7. That last bit is a total guess. Point being, for a club that had intentions of looking abroad, you surely save the slots purely for immediate first teamers.
  8. It's football. Easy to say this in hindsight but they probably thought he had more promise than what proved to be the case, and that he would be in and around the first team by the new year.
  9. It doesn't matter if they pay Β£50 million - it doesn't affect the money available for replacements.. VENKYS OUT!
  10. I quite like memorabilia like this but aside from a few words on the announcement there is no indication as to the content or contributors. Having anything to do with owners will go down like a lead balloon.
  11. We needed the right winger prior to the Travis situation so these two things should be independent of each other. That being said, I’m sure you’re right.
  12. 3 games gone, less than 2 weeks to go in the window and we still havent done anything to improve our attack that desperately needed improvements long ago. Guessing the Travis situation is a bottleneck before we can scramble in some nobody of a right winger and thatll be that, 4 or 5 senior bodies down. Exciting indeed.
  13. I think Colin first time round cost about 30 grand. Or it might have been 45, bit difficult remembering now.
  14. As the season progresses I anticipate the whiskey to coffee ratio being adjusted.
  15. The issue I have with the Mafoumbi situation is not that we took a cheap punt on a youngster, didnt work out, thats fine. Its that we clearly had intentions of looking abroad. So it was a total lack of foresight shown by Gestede and Owen to be willing to use up an ESC slot on a cheap punt.
  16. If we really would accept anything around Β£2M i am sure there would be a lot of clubs interested. The question is if there is anyone willing to pay Β£3.5M+ as I am sure that is what we will want. Hes a proven performer in a division where a lot of clubs are spending money so id be very surprised if we dont get north of Β£3M. Just a matter of waiting for the bids to come out of the woodwork.
  17. Could say that about a lot of the u21s they aren’t released though it’s only him because he takes up a slot just highlights the gross mismanagement currently on going at rovers
  18. Not even in terms of football either, young 18/19 year old lad coming to another country in what he imagined would be an exciting time for him and he’s been released after a year. I wish him well in his career and hope he has a good life
  19. Give it a few months and It'll be falling to pieces. Like everything else connected to the Club.
  20. Not mentioning the most recent 10% of our existence then? - I wonder why πŸ€”
  21. I used to do the same, but this season have decided to completely drop the coffee. By 60 minutes or so we look like a decent side.
  22. Today
  23. So Pasha is responsible for employing people, who he states, could not recognise that as a youth Adam Wharton was a talent !
