We're still home. QPR only won once at Ewood since 1999. I'd like to think we can take the momentum from Friday into this and win 1-0 or more likely 2-1 as can't see a clean sheet any time soon. -

We've beaten 3 of the top six away from home. Astonishing. However I don't remember QPR being one of our lucky venues. -
No. I personally think you have been fooled by a few good results at the moment. Now if we're comfortably in the top half after the Charlton game on the 4th January I might come around. I have enjoyed the last few weeks bar the derby game though, but do think depth could be a killer in this next block of games until 4th January. Still fully expect us to finish in the bottom 6 or so.

Hubris in this league always bites you on the arse. So maybe don’t let yourself get ‘egged’ on by by Liverpool supporting social media personalities purely advancing their own brand and you won’t look so silly after. - Today

Yes, didn’t get the ‘poor support for Derby’ comment, if they hadn’t been so petty with the away allocation we could have been pushing 25,000 on - by the way there were considerably more walk ons for the 150th than for the 125 when the club was in a far better place. The support is still there, and if this club ever got it together again…

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

He literally qualified the comment by saying it doesn't matter Besides, you don't get to decide what people factor in to their decision making on his capability. I find him abrasive and dismissive. He fits right in to the Suhail-Gestede power trip. -
Rovers's January transfer needs
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Ayari quality was there to see. He needed to play. Sanderson is more than good championship centre back I have already said very clearly we need a centre back but I would moved Carter on and bring back O'Riordan to fill his spot. I think we need but also we have a couple of options that allow us to moved back to different formation if we need to. We should also have a Plan B in case Plan A doesn't work. I don't we should be such an overhaul of the forward area during a January transfer window. It will be more difficult to find 1 striker signing given most Championship will be looking at similar players. But you still doing an overhaul during a season which I wouldn't do. Move Pickering and Gueye fine but others, not for me and It is far too soon to write players Henriksson and Tavares at this stage. These players will be needed and lets see if they can step up now. so you keep saying time after time. 😴 -
Championship Season 25-26

Will Southampton give their interim head coach Tonda Eckert the job full time, winning games and scoring goals. Norwich under Phillippe Clement lost his first game. Vitor Matos set to be appointed as Swansea's head coach. Was Klopp's first team coach at Liverpool last season. Interesting choice there Its the Sheffield derby game today at 12pm. Should be good game to watch. Its does look like Sheffield Wednesday will go down but they will have new owners before Christmas, so they will get an early present. -
They seem to moved away from last season winning formula. I also think they didn't need to sign Isak and Ekitike. Ekitike should be first choice tho given his form. Instead of spending so big on Isak, I would have look for number 6 player(defensive midfielder player, centre back and back up striker. Salah is massively off form and are they actually missing TAA.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Firstly, I don't know why whether you warm to him or not is even a factor in an opinion on Ismael or his media comments. Surely that should be non-issue. Its should be based on results and performances only. I think Ismael is doing well at the minute. The away form is very good and one of the best in the league, so he and the players deserved huge credit for that. The home form isn't good enough and we need to get better results whilst performances have been good tho. So that's need improving for me Is win record is better than Eustace record but Eustace has more points per game cos of more draws he had. -
Sadly it is more likely, based on the modus operandum of those behind the curtain, that the team will not be bolstered in January, but butchered instead. Whilst I like to hope that dead wood would be cleared out (Big Mak needs to move on, imo, for example) I am more worried that players who have grasped the opportunity to show some capability during the first half of the season (e.g. Gudjohnnsen, Cantwell, Alebiosu, and even Hedges) will be touted out as a way of generating cash flow for keeping the lights on a little longer. Thank goodness Balaz Toth is injured (and how crap that I should be typing such a sentence) 😞 I agree with your sentiment that the players seem to have found a miraculous formula that works (away from home) but I wonder how much of it is Dumbo's feather, and how much is actual team spirit derived from a reality of utter adversity? Let's hope the potion (whatever it is) doesn't wear off at Christmas..(as usual for good old Blackburn Rovers, the best team on the day). COY potion induced grafting B!
