  1. Past hour
  2. It’s a tough game no doubt about it but the 3-5-2 is absolutely eye bleeding unless you have two dangerous WBs. TGH and DeNeve both atrocious. Baradji zero interest today, Cantwell in a slump, even Tronstad was sloppy today, a couple of unfortunate goals today and a blatant penalty turned down. It’s all going against us, and Vals list reeks of the “poor me” attitude, and it’s reflective on the players. Val deserved that today for continuing with the hapless Hendrickson. My god. Val needs the boot regardless, get someone in here that has a chance of keeping us up, cause if we go down we won’t be back here, let alone premier league. They are gonna write a book about this tragedy in 30 years.
  3. That'll be another deadline day sale to shoot us in the head this time. Getting money in is absolutely all that matters.
  4. There's so much focus on it because we played so badly, and because it was our only chance, if we were murdering them 4 0 it would hardly get a mention. But teams get results when they don't play well, that's football.
  5. Could the right tracks involve us threatening the opposition goal? I think Ipswich had more on target today than we've had in the last 5 games
  6. Roughly where I was stood when we went up under Howard Kendall. That team would have put today’s team to the sword.
  7. It’s heartbreaking watching your club die a slow death.
  8. I’m still shaking my head over the first goal. Classic case of a left footed player trying to clear the ball with his right foot. Not knowing what was going on behind him ( Nothing in this case ) etc. It sounds like heads went down after that. I said I’d back Ismael as long as the players were giving 100%. It appears today that not all of them were. I’ll give him Swansea away but if there isn’t a massive improvement in performance and attitude I’ll be giving him the black spot. Who takes over after that will still have an injury list as long as my arm but something will need to change.
  9. I was talking to somebody last Tuesday, about United sacking their useless manager, i said theyd improve with Carrick in the dugout, low and behold they beat cty 2-0. If somebody at Ewood Park has a braincell, they'd sack Ismael.
  10. It's all we have left. Bit of my heart broke today. Knew we were gonna come off worse but the manner it came about.
  11. Managers do this, Ismael is particularly fond of it, but its a totally skewed analysis of the game to put so much focus on that decision. We were absolutely shocking throughout. Putting so much emphasis on that decision at 2 nil takes focus away from that. I know as a fan, my annoyance lies predominantly at what we could control today, not refereeing decisions.
  12. Our best attacking player today was Atcheson he played a couple of lovely forward passes and to say he was our most effective player from centre half is depressing Saying that it was good to see Jorgensen driving at players although he was obviously starved of any other quality service
  13. Lazy and laid back......far too much of that language for my liking.
  14. It pays to know what you're looking for before you start eating wild mushrooms
  15. He's half decent driving forward and does pick a good pass but he's far too laid back for my liking, needs to get more involved and put himself about if he wants to last.
  16. If the club answered the open letter and the Owners communicated that they would sell it would be finished. All we are trying to do is get some hope.
  17. So Cashin wasn’t attempting to play the ball ? I think you’ve misunderstood this when you first quoted me and you think I’m talking about the Ohashi incident
  18. Have we had enough time to make a judgement on whether the summer transfer dealings/clearout have improved the team?
  19. Thanks for the confirmation, he didn't play for the ball, he should have gone.
  20. Aron Donnum with an assist for Toulouse today 👀
  21. Are you sure you've not been on the Class A?
  22. I agree, while Ismael remains in the dugout, we're heading for league 1, his tactics are the worst in the championship.
  23. End of the day we either carry on with this slow, but ever continuing, slide into the lower divisions (with a rotted infrastructure to match) or we get a new owner, who, yes, may be Chansari-esque, or they may grab this club by its bootstraps and give it a go. This isn’t 2010, the game has grown exponentially since and potential owners are falling over themselves to get involved (particularly for Championship clubs - so of course this lot are doing all they can to torpedo that sweet spot in the football pyramid). *obviously it’s all moot as they’ve no intention of selling and it’s scenario 1.
  24. DENYING A GOAL OR AN OBVIOUS GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY (DOGSO) Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the offending player must be sent off. https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct edit - note the incident I was talking about which you quoted was the Cashin incident. The one on Ohashi is a red.
  25. As has been said more than once, the other "penalty " doesn't happen if he does his job properly and gives Rovers the penalty and sends Bartlett off for not attempting to play the ball. Of course it was a major decision, it doesn't excuse the rest of the dross but it was.
