  1. Past hour
  2. Only a good idea once the owners have put the club up for sale. Otherwise it is just money in their pockets when the objective is to turn off the taps.
  3. Agree it's a complete farce. Jack Walkers success in business and football was fuelled by hire the best you can get and pay them properly. Then there are no excuses but these lot operate a hire the cheapest friend recommended you can get. And they'll cost you a fortune in the long run in failure, cock ups and pay offs whilst in return you'll get nothing but a declining valueless product.
  4. Not arguing that - just stating to say he never got anywhere near it in his tenure is wrong
  5. Plodding but relatively stable is the stuff of dreams for us now 🥲
  6. Mowbray basically had 3 incredible months at this level in 5 and a half years. The rest of it was plodding but relatively stable.
  7. I would take Mowbray back in a heartbeat right now
  8. Ah, sorry I didn't realise the playoff spots where down to 7th. My bad!
  9. See Kean, Singh, Hunt x2, Agnew, Waggott, Pasha, Rao, Senior, Coyle. We're a vehicle for people who should be nowhere near the Championship / a club of this size - people who wouldn't have got close to equivalent jobs at any other Championship club and haven't after leaving here.
  10. Sounded like a snake oil salesman desperate for commission on that phone call.
  11. He'll never work at this level again once he's finished here.
  12. Not disputing that but to say nowhere near is a far fetch. Could be argued that whether it’s gd one point or 20 ya didnt make it but don’t think its fair the poster to say under his tenure we were nowhere near it
  13. End of the Swag was a General Manager type figure. Senior face around the place, been in the game a long time, could placate fans with some anecdotes or merely just nodding along. He had no power, CEO-INO but he was a deflection, especially when Cuddly Tone and uber-charismatic JDT (before he went after the regime) were here to deflect too. Now with this motley crew who have the worst traits combined - unprofessional and out of their depth, but arrogant and un-charismatic with it.
  14. They've got a 12 point cushion from the team outside the play-off spots - it's not that much of a risk.
  15. They’ll be the first to crow about how good life is post Venkys if they ever do clear off. Self awareness of David Brent.
  16. But when the assets run out - which they pretty much have apart from Toth and Alebiosu, they’re going to have to put their hands in their own pockets - albeit at a lower level. I can’t see them doing that for too long unless said costs drop dramatically.
  17. Bet it was Rev's vote that clinched it 🤣🤣🤣
  18. At least our nosedive has stopped the see you next Tuesday from gloating to his LinkedIn network about his marvellous new signings, and how shrewd an operator he is.
  19. Oof, yeah they seem to have blown it. Played 4 more games than 2nd placed Rochdale and are 2 points behind them, 3 points behind top of the table York who also have a game in hand on them. They appear at risk of not even making the playoffs.
  20. Kick backs😉, massaging his own ego, having free rein ect. The list is endless 😡
  21. We can't get everyone to boycott 🤷‍♂️
  22. I took it as that we never finished anywhere near the play offs. 8th and 6 points off it we finished, not a million miles away but a disaster considering where we were at the end of Jan. Another case of needing a bit of help in Jan to see us over the line that season.
  23. Seems some Carlisle fans want Hughes out there; could genuinely see him back here. How we’ve both fallen!
  24. Agreed. I've been saying this for the last two years!
  25. Exactly the same I reckon. They aren't going anywhere, ever. Costs will just be cut to be comparative with being a level lower.
  26. Waggot was the public face of Rovers as a CEO should be but he was only half a CEO behind the scenes i'd wager. He took the brunt of the stick whilst the others hid in the shadows and he did his best often to hide as well although maybe he was gagged who knows. This is the club who went to lengths to hire a director of communications and then stopped him from communicating ! So they finally get Waggot out the door as the fall guy, after finishing 7th, then embark on wrecking the stability at least his presence provided. The last advert for a new CEO read basically as a stadium manager even Nixon confirmed this so it's obvious who is running everything now so they should be held accountable for everything. Starting Saturday.
