  1. Past hour
  2. Fair enough Parson, hope you have got to the other side of your health issues. I won't tackle you on this again but the tenor of your posts recently make it sound as if you are either full square behind the regime and/or you dont mind what happens to the Club, your support for the team won't waver irrespective of what Division or level we end up in or at. That may or may not be an accurate reflection of what you feel but if not I think it's a shame that as one of the leading authorities on the Club, we aren't privy to your true thoughts. You don't need to reply to this post if you dont want, Im not trying to trip you up or catch you out by drawing you into saying something you'd rather be kept private.
  3. the size of our squad will really come home to hurt us in the coming weeks, basically we are down to 14 useful players, the rest are either not good enough or fresh from the academy, very surprised tyjon has`nt made the step up to the senior side this season,he`ll learn more coming on for 10 minutes than he will starting regularly for the u23`s
  4. Today
  5. It was a genuine attempt to block the ball and he was a split second late. Reckless would be going in studs up and catching him higher up on the leg. The referee saw it in real time at normal speed and (correctly imo) awarded a yellow. It wasn't a "clear and obvious" error and VAR shouldn't have intervened. They aren't supposed to be re-refereeing the game.
  6. I couldn’t pay a friend to come and watch the shite served up at Ewood on a dark, cold and wet Tuesday night. The club need to understand until the entertainment increases at Ewood you’re only going to get season ticket holders. They would have been better doing it for free and selling some pies and beer alongside a better attendance.
  7. Ipswich will be creaming themselves in anticipation of this fixture. Feck em to high tractorworld and back I say. Just dig in boys, and pull something, anything, from the locker to put the record straight. It's all we ask. Rob o the green - Rovers 1 Tractor boys 0 Robbery most foul - Rovers 0 Arnold Muren's love children 1 Realistic reckoning - Rovers 1 Whipsnitch 2 COYB!
  8. Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
  9. Curtis Lee - Under The Moon Of Love
  10. Reckless? Please. He was late to the ball. Unfortunately the fellas foot was where it was. Yellow.
  11. And off-sides, though even that's gone crazy---5 minutes to decide it was a hairs' breadth in it!.
  12. Is his reputation something that might its way into a team briefing Tony? Or are such things kept within the refereeing community? Until now, obviously! 😂 I thought Hedges betrayed his attacker’s mindset with the challenge, trying to win a ball where he started second favourite. As Tyrone explained very well earlier, a defender mindset is to stop anything bad happening first and foremost. Jockey the guy down there and the chances are it goes for a throw in or nowhere in particular.
  13. Well if he is replacing Hyam then your argument Hyam wasnt replace is surely wrong?
  14. Late and reckless. Always a red card. Never getting the ball in a month of Sundays
  15. A very fair summary imo. Given how much running these players were doing from minute one, I wasn't surprised about the fatigue later into the game, as we dropped back. I think there is a concern that our opponents generally seem stronger with their fresh legs, while our own substitutions often appear to weaken us. Partly injuries and partly these transfer windows that weaken a manager's hand ( even if he does collude.)
  16. Fair enough, @Parsonblue. I recall you being quite anti-regime a few years back, but yes, I get it, last couple of years, I’ve become more Serenity Prayer myself due to life events. But unfortunately I find my approach is becoming less ‘just watching the lads’ but just instead slowly switching off from the whole thing.
  17. I meant in general with that remark; not specific.
  18. I'm sure the extra nights sleep won't hurt for Ipswich
  19. If I was playing it’d be a grudge match, no doubt about that.
  20. Putting everybody into the scrum and nobody in the “ D “ was a bigger mistake.
  21. It’s not really a grudge match as the decision to abandon was correct and nothing to do with Ipswich. The decision to not award a result was also nothing to do with Ipswich.
  22. This is a very weird take when it was Caicedo doing the rolling around to deflect attention from his bad tackle. The Arsenal player was fortunate to avoid injury, it looked painful.
  23. It wasn't! He was going for the ball and his opponent got to it first. No card at all for me. Bloody cissies play-acting and rolling around on the ground when there's nowt wrong with them. These are the ones who should do 5 minutes in a sin bin. And whilst I'm at it, when will a ref go over to the screen and come back and say," I was right in the first place" and stick to his original decision?
