  1. Past hour
  2. Yep,looks like the novice has been given Carte Blanche to do what he wants...so dangerous.
  3. Don't feel this got enough credit, very subtle
  4. Andy Bayes: "For a team that ended last season just outside of the play-off spots, the hope from the fanbase was to make some key additions over the summer to supplement what they already had could see another realistic top-six push." ...We've been basically stripped bare instead.I hate these b'stards killing our Club with a passion. Going for 1-1 at best here, its like we are starting with a new side(all be it weaker)and its going to take time to gel.
  5. ...and his head in a polythene bag...
  6. I'd much rather see a net spend ranking.
  7. I don't think we can - we have three CBs (McLoughlin, Carter, Wharton) and two 'full backs that can play there' (Miller, Pickering). If we're training and drilling three at the back and there's an injury or suspension, we're immediately playing a player out of position.
  8. It's a big assumption. Spent practically his whole career in the Midlands or further south.
  9. I'm not confident saying we've drastically regressed until I've seen the players actually play.
  10. like Hull (not parachute level wages, but they do pay decent wages)
  11. You could spend ÂĢ50 million on transfers but if you are only willing / able to pay players ÂĢ5k a week then they aren't likely to be very good and you probably won't improve as a team. Likewise you could spend ÂĢ0 and bring in free agents and loans only, but if you are shelling out wages on a PL or parachute level then you're probably going to end up with a very strong side at this level. No doubt of course that this ÂĢ8-9 million transfer spend estimate will enter the history books as fact once Gestede and co have told Jackson about it and then they can pretend as though there has been serious investment in the team. Anyone with sense can see we have drastically regressed off the back of it.
  12. Today
  13. Aye, but who IS the club in this context? We forget at our peril that the only constant since this whole nightmare began is the shadow-man, and he has shown time and time again complete contempt for others, disdain for due process and total ignorance of the law in this country as regards the treatment of employees. His one trick pony tactic is simply to put others between him and the full scrutiny of those who question what is going on at the club. He also knows that should he step into the light, for example in a 'fans forum' type meeting, he would be rapidly exposed for the rat that he is - which is why, of course, we never hear a peep from him, because he knows he is that close to being undone. We can see RG is a knob, and perhaps that is his role and his level of capability, so he is very easily supplanted. What would happen if Suhail Pasha Shaikh was held to account and removed from the picture? - well that is a very interesting question for which it is becoming high time we had an answer. SHADOW SHAIKH OUT! INTO THE LIGHT YOU CONNIVING COCKROACH !
  14. Transfermarkt for some reason, guess at some fees, yet have "?" for others, such as Hyam, Leonard, Brittain & Travis, which means that those 4 sales essentially count as ÂĢ0 in their figures https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/transfers/wettbewerb/GB2/plus/?saison_id=2025&s_w=s&leihe=3&intern=0&intern=1 I think it may be input by users, similar to wikipedia, but that is just further reason not to believe what they publish
  15. The lads in finance are allergic to ties and I'm not sure what a lifestyle executive is, nor why they need 3+ each with an assistant
  16. Where do they get those figures from? e.g. even going off Transfermarkt, Derby's CF cost ÂĢ6.9m and their RB ÂĢ2.5m. Was Travis free? Carlton Morris free? No loan fees paid for Beck, Brereton-Diaz et al?
  17. Indeed, however income does exceed expenditure (once again) this season. Derby, whilst selling nobody, have a very similar expenditure which is why graphics like the one I responded to have very little meaning
  18. https://www.uniquesg.com/our-team/ Steve Hitchen in there - ex Rovers Youth team.
  19. What has he done that makes you consider him to have been an excellent appointment?
  20. I've been hoping for that for almost 15 years!
  21. At the Rovers income received means nothing.
  22. I mean he hasn't played for 9 months and it's still ÂĢ40k a month at 35 when you're unemployed. He might.
  23. Transfer expenditure means very little without comparing it to income received from transfers
  24. The Unique Sports Group, whoever they are!
  25. Kentaro / SEM by any chance? ðŸĪŠ
