  1. Past hour
  2. But "new or otherwise" is dismissing the point entirely. I'm talking specifically about the extension of existing players.
  3. Showing the "ability", or knowhow to physically draw up a contract, new or otherwise. They're quite capable of drawing up a contract, if it's to their liking.
  4. Around the same time it was disclosed that SW was sorting something out with Adidas re: club shop refurb, shirt sponsor, collab with Gary Aspen etc, I think? Then the women’s team issue was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I didn’t like Waggott for many reasons but at the very least he was trying to increase income, whereas Pasha et al seem to just seek cutback after cutback.
  5. Would rather they sold the club
  6. In fairness it’s 10 players who will be on 8 grand max and probably not many suitors.
  7. You keep on saying it's inability when it clearly isn't. I've never once said they're no good, but it's obvious what has happened/is happening and you just keep on yearning for something which clearly isn't going to happen. As I've been saying for weeks, whether the new process works depends almost solely on how good the recruitment department is . They've got a lot on.
  8. Sums up venkys entire tenure at the club.
  9. You said: "they've just signed 10 players, they're more than capable of penning contracts." Again, they were obliged to sign those players, otherwise we wouldn't have a squad. The fact that a number of new, low value contracts have been offered has no bearing at all on whether they either can't or won't offer improved terms to current players. They HAD to sign new players. They had no choice.
  10. If anyone has missed it, the need for Venkys to give the Indian government a bond equal to 50% of what they send us (previously 100%) has been removed entirely. Obviously this has happened a week after the window closed.
  11. If they're that concerned about the losses then the easiest option is to sell up and fuck off.
  12. Please tell me you understand the difference between inability and unwillingness.
  13. Obviously it is choice. They are choosing not to pay competitive Championship wages. Hence why nearly all of our signings are from smaller leagues abroad, often players relegated so their wage demands will be comparatively tiny. You make it sound like the likes of Travis and Hyam in particular just werent very good and we chose to discard them.
  14. I took the size from the 50's retro chart. An american 3x which is loose on me measures 27" (inches). across the width laying flat so hope that helps. Often Mr Shearer is at these things and I have a wild hope he will see the shirt and stop for a natter. Went to one last year in Nashville and there were lotsa dingle shirts so I wanna let em know we still alive and well in the US. Let me know your vosts and I will re-imburse you.
  15. I'm begging you to state you understand the difference between signing new players and offering improved contracts to current players.
  16. It's a She if I can remember rightly.
  17. It isn't inability, they've just signed 10 players, they're more than capable of penning contracts, it's choice. I'd rather they'd kept Dolan in particular, and Britain, although I can't say I let it "worry" me when it's so obvious what's happening. If the personnel and makeup of the club hadn't changed it would be more of a worry.
  18. Post the star bucks, flash watch and car before a football
  19. Becoming a huge @KentExile fan cos people ask questions and he provides answers!
  20. Today
  21. PNE do not appear to have a problem with finding potential new owners. Very much contrary to what some Rovers fans keep telling me “who would buy Blackburn Rovers?”. 😡
  22. Indeed. All 4 of the 2024-25 preferred defenders are gone. Club captain gone. 2nd top scorers both gone. The manager went earlier too. It's going to be a rough season.
  23. I dont get why people correlate it with potential transfer funds. They have to cover losses every year. It is in their best interests obviously to not have to have that guarantee in place purely to do that.
  24. Given what's now happened at the club and the lengths they've gone to in order to implement this latest 'model' i don't think they'll be raising the wages and transfer budget anytime soon. This is Suhail and friends dream child now to be run on the breadline however it should leave the club in the best financial situation its been in for a while. Well since last time they so called straightened the books then sat back and let Waggot/TM and co plod along.
  25. We will see. Assuming they become established and their value goes up and they want better money, I am sure we wont agree with that either. Just to clarify. You dont have any worries at all with our inability to get new contracts sorted for current players?
  26. What if other mediocre Championship clubs offer those players average Championship salaries we “don’t agree with” ?
