  1. Past hour
  2. Has there been any indication or confirmation that we will extend a first-team playerโ€™s contract again?
  3. I like how we press under him
  4. I thought my comment was fairly obviously slightly tongue in cheek. As for your second paragraph - agree that's fairly unlikely, the atmosphere around the Club isn't convivial enough for a civil conversation let alone that according to most accounts.
  5. Time will tellโ€ฆ.i think that will be the case at least for 2 of those players
  6. Hey I suggested Liverpool not Burnley ๐Ÿคฃ
  7. Yep. Push on to "mid table" next season. One after that should be looking at "top half" One after that should be looking at being "in play off contention" At best nothing whatsoever will happen, and the protagonists sail off into the sunset with their pockets stuffed full of cash. Rip it up, start again on another "project" or "process" - rinse and repeat.
  8. Surely suggesting to go and support Burnley is equally as unnecessary.
  9. The plan will be different next season. Unless something dramatically changes, Tronstad, Cantwell, Carter, Wharton etc will have to leave.
  10. Username is eternal optimist. Cut him some slack. God we could use a bit of optimism around here. Just because someone tries to be positive about our players doesn't mean he's shagging Pasha...
  11. I dont think Belligham playing alongside Rice works. You need a player who will dictate play there, not be bombing on. Anderson or Wharton type. We're in the same old problem of having too many similar players for the number 10 position. Tuchel will need to pick between Morgan, Bellingham, Palmer and leave two on the bench, and make sure we have a proper central midfielder alongside Rice. They're totally different positions with different skills. What id like us to avoid is playing number 10s on the wing or deeper in midfield, just to fit them in.
  12. They caveated that by saying it will take time basically saying season 1 transition and next season to push on. Thatโ€™s how I took it silly though
  13. Very good last night, as good as the weekend was bad. I'm genuinely excited about going to a tournament under Tuchel as I feel we have a genuine chance of winning under him which wasn't something I ever felt like with Southgate in charge.
  14. Good job the FA didnt follow your advice or he'd be looking for a new job by now!
  15. They also said that they think that the squad is stronger. So why wouldnt they commit to saying that the aim is the play offs seeing as we finished 7th with a weaker squad, in their eyes?
  16. Theres a lot here but you say that some of the players that have left werent giving 100%. What makes you say that?
  17. Do they not give you and Tricky any actual work to do at the Club?
  18. U21s are away to Coventry this evening in the Premier League Cup, 7pm kick off Preview score/update
  19. Today
  20. I don't disagree but it's the other end of the pitch that really worries me. We are missing McLoughlin and with Carter and Wharton not having played a full game for ages I really think we are up against it. Miller could play at centre half but after a punishing week he could be jaded. Pickering has also played there but similar to Carter and Wharton he has hardly played in a long time. Selling Hyam so late in the window will come back to bite us immediately.
  21. Something differentโ€ฆor something cheaper? ๐Ÿค”
  22. Interesting that he took a back seat for this one. He simply has to go. The one constant.
  23. โ€˜Can you fulfil your 38/46 games?โ€™ โ€˜You can? Great, crack on thenโ€™. Thatโ€™s the only regulating the governing bodies fixture organisers of English football do.
  24. The Style Council - Have You Ever Had It Blue?
