The club should be looking to sort new contracts when 2 years left on their contracts. But also need to look.at different player situation. Dolan never going to re-sign here, Travis never to sign a new contract here and would follow Eustace Don't agree. Every club have wage budget and some higher wages than others but its results on the pitch that matters. Your wage bill need to in line with what you can afford -

The dingle booing just summed them up, fair enough dodgy decisions do happen over the course of a season, the penalty decision wasn't one. Absolutely blatant. They're wanking on about their defensive performance but is that really what they want all season, to be "entertained" sticking everyone behind the ball all game. Suppose the money makes it easier to take like.
-
Depends who lost money...if it was Danny Murphy, as someone alluded to, and let's say Roy Keane and Joey Barton, I'm not sure I'd even be able to finish getting the hankies out before I was done.
-
Tragic news this. He was a real man for coming out and being open about his struggles with mental health and the like. A real character and from all reports a top lad has been lost.

Never really got into Queen either although they have some great tunes and I can see why people love them so much as they were brilliant, just not my thing. Stevie Wonder I like some of his stuff. Peak was the three years or so before his accident. A group I never understood the hype about is U2. They're alright I suppose but I just don't get why there's such a massive love in for them. Maybe it's just thta the singer is such a massive cunt that ruins it for me.

Just jealousy and spite from everyone else who tried and failed to buy their way to the title and were shown up by a small town club from the North West. It all stems from the fact that Rovers winning the league was the absolute antithesis of what the Premier League was supposed to all be about. We played the big wealthy city clubs at their own game and beat them. Those clubs, their fans and the pathetic southern based media can't stand that. Since then we've had nothing but wealthy big city clubs win the title and year after year the game has gotten progressively worse and less entertaining. Real fans, the actual lifeblood of the game have been cast aside for a bunch of fairweather tourists who are more than happy to be fleeced to watch a football match. What's the end result of all this? Turgid shite. Yep I know, I went off on a bit of a tangent there but it had to be said. -

Remember Hearts blowing it in spectacular style a few years ago! Just realised longer ago than I thought as it was 1986. Brilliant effort considering that it was the peak time for Aberdeen and Dundee Utd.

The smart move for them would be to just make sure they're stable this season. Avoid getting dragged into the relegation scrap and that'd be a great success for them. -

You're not making any sense to me either. For starters I literally don't live in East Lancs and haven't since about 2010. -

Cantwell offers a lot more of a tackle than Tavares imo. I have been quite impressed with Cantwell this season in terms of getting stuck in... born out by the stats so far this season (average tackles per game). -
It'll be interesting to see how long Wrexham's owners give Parkinson if results don't improve. He could quite rightly say he needs time to adjust to so many new players, as the squad themselves have to gel, but one imagines if they're struggling towards the lower end by mid-November there may be some movement.

Very early days yet. Some of the signings look promising, others don't, but it's a long old season. The only player I think looks very poor is De Neve. Alebiosu is the one I've been most impressed by so far. Morishita has the potential to be a great pickup. The rest, we'll see. The big test will come when we get a few injuries and/or suspensions, as will inevitably happen. I don't think there's a need to rush and credit (or discredit) Gestede yet, as there's still a long way to go. -

Yeah, you're asking too much of Tronstad there, we'd be overrun. If Gudjohnsen becomes as good as we hope, I could see Ohashi playing on the left, as an inside forward. Or even behind the striker, with Cantwell wide. You then have Mori on the right, with Kargbo as an impact sub. From an attacking perspective, it's a definite upgrade on last season. -
Yep, either Babb or Scales (or either). It's an absolute lazy opinion and does the amazing work done by Kenny/Ray/Tony a massive disservice.

Don't forget Berg, Atkins and Le Saux! One of my favourite come backs about us 'buying' the league is that we built our entire back 5 defensive line for less than Liverpool paid for Phil Babb.. -

Cantwell canβt tackle. Thereβs no place for him in holding midfield.
