That lopsided BS needs fixed. I do not even know if it benefits Prem clubs since most of these young uns end up nowhere near the limelight. It needs fixed, I think, because as it stands it hurts smaller clubs and young players. -
Venkyβs (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

The coalition consists of people who have been involved in fighting for the cause, many times. I personally believe that, without certain people, this club, would either be gone already, or certainly a whole lot lower than we currently are. When you look back and realise what desperate attempts, certain people involved at the very beginning did, it shows how dangerous they were. Threats to lives, physical attacks even attempts at paying people off, who were protesting were made, not to mention, trying to discredit people by crying to the media. I personally believe that some of these chancers, still exists, but as a result of the efforts made both in the past and now, the chances of them succeeding are less and I definitely have more hope than I otherwise would have, that they will eventually be driven out. - Today

You are the one that suggested that Ismael would be happy going into the season with Alebiosu and Montgomery as right backs. Therefore, surely if we had Brittain aswell, that would be too many? I have made it very clear that it is imperative that Brittain is replaced by a first team right back when he goes. If Ismael is "happy" with just the 2 including a rookie midfielder filling in, then more fool him. But I suspect he is not. Considering he isnt blind and knows how good Brittain is, I am confident that he is aware that when he goes, we need a replacement. - Yesterday

I believe Pickering has gone to Plymouth Argyle this evening in a bid to compete as their starting LB in L1 this season -
Not for overseas club which I read he wants. For a Championship club a couple of millions plus 15k a week over 3 years is the going rate isn't it? It's been 18 days since he left us officially and since no club

Just to reiterate and may be fuelled by holiday drinks but you're right the club is dying. It's sad to see however the fans are turning to the coalition for hope and we do all genuinely appreciate all the work people are doing. For most of us it's out of the realms of knowledge (personally I wouldn't know where to begin with all of this) keep going @glen9mullan and the rest of the coalition we are rooting for you and all. And I'm sure these signings have video scouted and check, but scouting is original done by video cos he can used Wyscout which is great for club and used by many clubs out there. Of course players are scouted on how much they will cost but you want to check and scouted the players attributes first and make sure they fit in with the type of players you want His team was relegated from Belgium top league to the second league. -

Why wouldn't you want Brittain to stay and sign a new contract? One of our best player, proven championship player with experience. Ismael is a big fan of his Finances play every transfer but Ismael is very clear on what he wants and so far in terms of profile of player. Is Belgium league a lesser league than the championship? I don't need to prepare my excuses RF99 but I could turn it around on you and you have prepared your excuses for Ismael potentially he is happy with those 2 players. Yes I want a replacement for Brittain cos I want to use Montgomery as centre midfielder not as a right back something you have overlooked here -

McLaughlin, Al Sahafri and the baradji bloke if the medical works out, plus a premier league striker loan. Not a million miles away. -

I do miss the times when we last had a Big sale, P. Jones, splashed 6.80m on Scott Dann and nearly 4m on Goodwillie recouping 1.5m. Running a football club is extremely difficult. Minimizing risk is a clever way to do it. When it comes to not backing Eustace, he was delighted with both Sanderson and Forshaw in the Jan window. In addition we brought in AK and Dennis. The summer transfer window I think most supporters were pleased with. -

No point praising how good some of our younger players are when the Premier Leaguee sharks are always circling. We get excited at the prospect, then they're off. -

At the moment we line up like this as our strongest lineup: Toth Albieusu, Carter, Hyam, Ribeiro Tronstad, Travis, Cantwell Ohashi, Gueye, Hedges Subs: Picks, De Neve, Kargbo, Tavares, Tyjon, Buckley, Montgomery, Leonard, Forshaw, Wharton, Garrett, Pears. Really need reinforcements... -

Again, why is it preferable to 'develop' 'young players', and in doing so likely sacrifice results, over immediate results which we were getting last season under Eustace and which should have taken us into the play-offs? Who wins from the strategy you are so happy with? Rovers? No chance. We sacrifice immediate results under the pretence of a longer term plan. When did we last benefit - really benefit - from a player sale? The Wharton emergence and sale should have been our golden lottery ticket - once in a generation. And where did we get with that one? Plenty of tweets and back slapping among Rovers and the support base about 'one of our own' but naff all to actually show for it, unless you count remaining in business as being something worth boasting about. Gestede benefits because he can claim we are 1 window into a 4,5,6 window process which secures him 3-4 years of employment. Venkys benefit because it saves them yet more money. Pasha stooge benefits because if one or two of these players come good and we sell them, even if its for a small fee, it is all profit and he can get a pat on the back from the money men in India.
