Huntelaar has played in the Champions League qualifiers for Ajax...so I don't think he can be going to Man U because he would be cup-tied.

And he is not going to City. Short of a shilling.

Checking, but I cannot see it.

If he had left Spurs this morning to fly up here for a medical I think we would have known by now.

I know - thats why i never mentioned it on here! I think we might see a loan signing possibly later in the day, or maybe some unknown giant from Congo but thats about it!

Only way we'd get defoe is if 1 of our current lot left and that's unlikely.

If that did happen - we could at play 4-3-3. Bentley could play in the three in midfield with a front-line of Santa, Benni and Defoe with Roberts, Derbs and Rigters backing up.

Defoe? Why? We have a stable of quality strikers, we don't need him. We do need MGP, despite the barracking he got for 45 bad minutes last night.

Honestly, I don't think there is much chance of anything happening.

The manager seems relaxed.

And the chairman seems to have gone missing.

Perhaps we will know more on that score soon. ;)

I think there are going to be quite a few.

If Rovers are to sign anyone it has to be a midfielder who can play in the middle.

I dont go for the Defoe/MGP swap idea, how could we replace the left midfield?
