philipl Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Al Fayed's personal physician ruled out the Marlon King signing when al fayed insisted he have a look at the player. Nice way of stopping Woy!

philipl Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 No Fayed is too busy trying to nail the Duke of Edinburgh for murder and building his own mausoleum in the middle of Harrods to be a power-hungry conytrol-freak...
Presty On Tour Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Looks like a 0-0 at the breeze block, doing no favors for either side. i see bullard is back, must be his first start in about 2years?
Ben-2000 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I know his time at Ewood didn't really work out but here's hoping Roy gets a good reception on Saturday. I can only recall him speaking well of the club since he left.
mattyboy6000 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 great coach terrible manager who appeared to have a nervous breakdown while at rovers. appointing him as manager at fulham to turn around a team previously managed by a kick and run manager (sanchez) is lunacy of a peerless level
rover6 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 lunacy of a peerless level Appointing Howard Wilkinson to rescue Sunderland was more dumb.
1864roverite Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 So long Roy and Fulham. Not even al Fayed can magic an escape act now.
Claytons Left Boot Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Saw his after match interview on Sky today. He looked like he had been smacked round the head with a jellied eel. Haggered.
brian_gallagher85 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Still, at least by staying on this forum you can get a little taste of the big boys league Nah, if you look at the Championship this season anyone could win it. I believe that the same will happen next season and as you lot don't have many major stars the squad should stay the same
T4E Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 And never to return again, say goodbye. You're more than welcome up at Ewood buddy
thenodrog Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 If you go down and if Alf chucks some money in on top of the parachute payment and if you spend it wisely you'll have a great time. If.
ffan Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 If you go down and if Alf chucks some money in on top of the parachute payment and if you spend it wisely you'll have a great time. If. If... Eddie Johnson was good Hodgson starts Dempsey Ach we are down and we are never coming back.
rover6 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I know this won't make you feel any better but life in the lower leagues can be more fun than being a perennial Premier League struggler. I don't say that from experience, mind you! I know lower league sides have their players poached incessantly and the standard sinks alarmingly BUT at least, assuming you have a bit of financial backing, you can expect to be in the upper half of the league. The predictability of the top segment of the Prem is one thing you can forget about. Yeah, I know, it didn't make you feel better... I feel sorry for Roy but he doesn't seem to have what it takes to save struggling sides. We came up together - Sean Davis, Louis Saha, Bjarni Goldbaek, Horsfield vs. Craig Hignett, David Dunn, Damien Duff, Stig Bjornebye those were the days, eh?
philipl Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 When they go down, perhaps Woy will have better luck than Alf in getting Pwince Philip to go to the inquest?
