I dunno, thats what i wanted to know! Seems to me its apprently at city! but like i said it's ALL APPRENTLY thats why i asked nicko if theres any true in this.

Do you even understand the meaning of the word APPARENTLY?

Here, I'll help you:

It means capable of being easily perceived or understood; plain or clear; obvious according to appearances, initial evidence, incomplete results, etc.; ostensible rather than actual.

Now, on what evidence is it apparent that Man City is having a press conference Thursday regarding Rocky?

At the moment on the transfer front, it feels like we have an archaeologist in charge rather than a Manager. Now Annan is out of the way, all the players we are linked with had great futures several years ago.

On the outgoing front, thank goodness Ince has placed his career and credibiity on the line by saying 100% nobody leaves in this window.

If Newcastle or Man City entice major players away from the club now, it will be a damming indictment on how the world of football sees what Ince is doing at Ewood.

Telegraph reports ince close to his fifth signing of a summer long target. Pretty much means Andrews if you ask me. Oh well i will reserve judgement when i see him play

Maybe it is Villanueva - He has gotten his work-permit and recovered from the pox.

He has his permit and recovered from the pox, hense why he has been training with the squad all week.

This has to be a joke

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...ruz-894599.html

"Manchester City last night bid £12m for the striker Roque Santa Cruz. The offer, according to sources at Blackburn Rovers, was being given serious consideration by the chairman, John Williams, despite the insistence of the manager, Paul Ince, that the 26-year-old Paraguayan was not for sale."

I'm sick of this mindset that if a club bids for your player you have to sell. We don't have to sell Roque!

I'm sorry but Ince is doomed if he sells Roque, both on the field in our performances and off the field with the fans after his comments in the media about there being no more sales, especially of key players. A suicidal decision if it happens.

There is absolutely no way we would sell for 12m quid. Just jounos trying to make a story. As it stands we have 10-15m to spend. The problem has been finding players worth buying...

We still desperately need a central midfielder and a right winger. Another striker would be nice too, and potentially a centre back if Ooijer goes.

Yeah if someone could ask him this aft then that would be good - would be good to see his reaction.

With £15-20m in the bank - there is no reason what at all to sell him. Unless someone is daft enough to offer us £30m of course.

I usually find it better to count to ten when I am fuming...in this case it's about a million.

How any newspapers or TV stations can fall for the Roque story is beyond me. It is blatant propaganda from a club which is on the rocks because of their problems.

City employ a couple of spin doctors who brief the media to make it sound like everything is wonderful.

Remember Ronaldinho? Where is he?

The Sun ran a 'Hughes quits' story and then cosies in by taking the City-Roque 'bid' seriously.

The Independent's man is close to Joorabchian and his people who also want to make sound City like a force.

Quite pleased with the Spurs Corluka row story in the Mirror today...check that out to see what is REALLY happening.

And, by the way, City will sell one of their top players shortly to bid for a striker...but it will take more than that to buy Roque.

It is laughable.
