Bobby G Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Just as the topic says. Is there anyone here whose planning on doing something?

John Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Do we know which hotel they are staying at? Previously they stayed at Le Royal Méridien (I think).
Bobby G Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 Im not sure. But you are right about their previous stays. I think its their regular hotel, so might be the same. I met them at the Cavalli nightclub last year, and MGP said they were staying there.
chris Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Herold Goulon didn't get in the squad to go to Dubai, his career is going well then.
philipl Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 CryerRovers Andrew Cryer Morten's blog: "I admit it right now, Dubai is incredible. The training conditions are good, and the climate is wonderful". Rub it in then.
Mercer Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Pampered beyond believe. Paid fortunes, need to 'bond', recharge the batteries, refresh. What total cr@p - these are professional sportsmen not brave soldiers exposed to the highest degree of risk in Afghanistan. I remember the day when most players lived in and around Blackburn and you'd bump imto them in town or surrounding towns and they'd only be too happy to have a chat. This is why more and more of the working people feel alienated by the 'modern' footballers. Far too much money involved for people of such average ability. The whole world has gone mad!
Guest linganzi Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Calm down, put away that daily mail. You could argue that if you dedicate yourself to s discipline such as football or similar you night not find yourself on military front lines

SAS Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Having seen pics on twitter it looks like they are having good party's too!!!!'
cesus Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I'd have hoped they had been working on their fitness not pissing up, they have been dying on their feet in the last 20 mins for a good couple of months!!
CAPT KAYOS Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Im not sure. But you are right about their previous stays. I think its their regular hotel, so might be the same. I met them at the Cavalli nightclub last year, and MGP said they were staying there. they where/are supposed to be on a training exercise!!! - so better not be doing this on this jolly. I am not against players having a bit of 'time out' but it needs to be earnt. If they couldn't cope with the pitch at Wigan they should have them down training at Pleasington
Wild Irish Rover Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 If they couldn't cope with the pitch at Wigan they should have them down training at Pleasington Whooooaaa there... 't pitches at Pleasy are far far better than 't mudbath at 't DW Stadium. Slightly less covered in dogSh*t too, from my recollection.

Martin Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 If the last trip is anything to go by they'll spend most of their time in Boudoir. When do they leave?
Hughesy Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I remember the day when most players lived in and around Blackburn and you'd bump imto them in town or surrounding towns and they'd only be too happy to have a chat. Take it you havent met most of our players then?? Because if you did - you would find this to be the case now.
gumboots Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Take it you havent met most of our players then?? Because if you did - you would find this to be the case now. True - i bumped into a certain young player in sainsburys in Clitheroe only the week before last
Guest linganzi Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I see mark bunn at the petrol station quite often near us. Chatty

Lets pray and hope it makes you and other players wearing our shirt pull your fingers out of your arse's eh then Morten!
Mattyblue Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Makes me laugh when people try and compare the life of a footballer with the Armed Forces, nurses etc. I once saw a group on Facebook 'pay nurses the same as PL footballers' oh dear! They can spend a week in the Playboy Mansion with Charlie Sheen (once its passed its health inspection, of course) as long as they win matches on their return.
chaddyrovers Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 haven't spend much time out there. 5 days. Would have thought that they would have been there till wednesday. Hopeful the training they did will help and Kean tactics and style of play has been worked on. And I hope Kean realise that he has to drop the diamond shape midfield and play with 2 wingers and 4-4-2!

chaddyrovers Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I hope your lotto number come up for you mercerman. Rovers fans just have to hope Kean can keep us up. With Big Sam in charge you always knew that he would keep us up comfortable.
Bobby G Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 Very short stay this time around. If they arrived Tuesday morning, and back in England Saturday it means 4 full days roughly. Weird.
