Mercer Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 And what exactly would that accomplish? FFS, lose today and it's over and Kean will have paid a huge part in our downfall. Do nothing smacks of indifference and would allow Venky's to continue with the perception that Kean's a nice guy and everyone loves him!!!!!!!!

Dan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 The return of Keef Beat me too it! Could be Formica? Maybe Roque has persuaded Kean to give his Bro a change? Hehe
Mercer Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Pal from Bolton has seen Bolton arrive and reckons Sturridge is playing. Going to meet-up for a drink with him and will crown him if he's telling porkies! Now going in hope rather than anticipation.
Dan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 FFS, lose today and it's over and Kean will have paid a huge part in our downfall. Do nothing smacks of indifference and would allow Venky's to continue with the perception that Kean's a nice guy and everyone loves him!!!!!!!! IF we lose today, it'll look very grim. We've seen clubs in trouble appoint new managers and them to have a 'honeymood period' and escape the drop in the past.. Surely though it's too late in the day now though? Unless Venky's have preempted and have somebody ready at the drop of a hat? There is our historical saviour Tony Parkes, but the way Venky's got rid of John Williams leads me to believe they know nothing of our recent history. Unless Tony has been putting in some serious OT I can't see them giving him the time of day. Tony is a decent man, one of the true nice guys in football, but he always comes across as very humble, that wouldn't impress Benky's IMO. Personally lose today and I'd love TP as caretaker. Anyway, let's try and stay positive! Just recently I noticed a stray grey hair, if this is down to Rovers I'll look like Ravanelli by the end of the season!
OJRovers Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Got to win today, setting off now. I think the crowd will be right behind the lads again from the start, hopefully we'll start with the confidence we had in the 2nd half v City. NEED TO SCORE FIRST! Annoyingly if we win Kean is going to be so smarmy in his interviews after, we'd still be in the worst run for 20 odd years.
USABlue Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Im actually happy this one isn't on in the states, checking the score after its all over will only mean a few seconds of nerves for me rather than 90 mins. Lets hope sturridge is out and Junior is in... I think that will be enough to eeck out a 1-nil win... If other results go our way we can be 4 points up with 3 games to go. It is, albeit the next day. It's on Fox Soccer Plus on Sunday so I have a whole day of hiding from the scores. Well after five days of thunderstorms and tornadoes it'll be a good day to spend in the garden. Panic abounds on here, while this is a huge huge game I can not buy into the reasoning that we are down if we lose, anymore than I can that we are safe if we win. I'm sort of resigned to Championship football right now it just doesn't seem on the cards for us to pull this one out, nothing seems to be going our way, decisions, run of the ball, injuries, nothing. Hope like hell we find two victories in the last few games here cos I'm convinced it's what it will take.
tommm Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 The guy on the Bolton website says that there's no sign of Sturridge.
danielwhite813 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Absolutely bricking it. Massive Massive game. COYB
budha Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Wanderers: Bogdan, Robinson, Cahill, Taylor, Elmander, Knight, K Davies, Rodrigo, Cohen, Wheater, Gardner. No Jääskeläinen in the goal, no Sturridge, no Lee, no Muamba.. Wanderers substitutes: Jaaskelainen, Muamba, Petrov, Klasnic, Blake, Alonso, Chung-Yong
Backroom Tom Posted April 30, 2011 Backroom Posted April 30, 2011 Bogdan, Robinson, Cahill, Taylor, Elmander, Knight, K Davies, Rodrigo, Cohen, Wheater, Gardner Wanderers substitutes: Jaaskelainen, Muamba, Petrov, Klasnic, Blake, Alonso, Chung-Yon Apparent Bolton team
bastionRover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 is there anywhere I can watch/listen to the match on-line? Would love to be there but the small obstacle of several hundred miles is in the way!
danielwhite813 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No hoilett for us. One change Nzonzi for dunn
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Sturridge is a big loss for Bolton, though Elmander has had a decent season and Davies will be a handful as well. Just seen the Rovers lineup, don't see any goals in that team.
budha Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Blackburn: Robinson, J Jones, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Nzonzi, Benjani, Salgado, P Jones, Roberts from the Bolton twitter.
Backroom Tom Posted April 30, 2011 Backroom Posted April 30, 2011 FFS no Hoilett Blackburn: Robinson, J Jones, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Nzonzi, Benjani, Salgado, P Jones, Roberts Blackburn substitutes: Bunn, Kalinic, Pedersen, Santa Cruz, Rochina, Hanley, Diouf Least creative team we could possibly pick well done Kean They are obviously lying to us about the extent of Hoiletts injury as well
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Looking at that side we deserve to go down.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 There's some big players missing for both teams but at least with Bolton you can tell which players will make a difference. Our bench could probably beat our first team.
Kamy100 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If we can't beat am under strength Bolton, playing their third game of the week then we deserve what we get.
Bobby G Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 We have to pray that Olsson terrorizes them, otherwise no creativity in that side. I dont want to talk about the front two either.
BRFC1995 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 FFS no Hoilett Blackburn: Robinson, J Jones, Olsson, Samba, Givet, Emerton, Nzonzi, Benjani, Salgado, P Jones, Roberts Blackburn substitutes: Bunn, Kalinic, Pedersen, Santa Cruz, Rochina, Hanley, Diouf Least creative team we could possibly pick well done Kean as much as i think pedersen is utterly useless, he is better than n'zonzi. Diouff has to play just for his pace. Don't see a goal in that lot, don't see many attempts at goal in that lot. 0-0, and hope sturridge is rested. sod off kean
brfc4ever Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Benjani/Roberts again ?? Why ? Because they were fantastic last week ??
Backroom Tom Posted April 30, 2011 Backroom Posted April 30, 2011 Benjani earned his place but you need someone alongside him who can finish, instead we have Roberts. Oh to have Diouf back for Emerton.
