To be fair to JW, he probably never thought Andrews would make as many appearances as he did. He probably thought he would never have to honour that agreement.

But it was still the right thing to do on our part, if he worked hard and got a regular game, he should have moved onto a premiership wage. Which he somehow did.

id've been wary of his relationship with ince.

maybe JW shouldve been ??

And he was, which is why he didn't pay him a premier league wage until he played a certain amount of games. He could not have blocked the transfer as it would have undermined his manager. Back then we ran a club whereby the Chairman gave the manager full control of the squad. God knows what we run now.

If its any consolation, a mate of mine who is a Baggie is absolutely livid.

Andrews, if you remember, was brought up through the Wolves system and has history with Albion and their fans.

It may be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire for Keef!

I forgot about that, it seems so long ago, doubt they'll all forgive and forget though unless he gets off to a flying start!

Best of luck to him, he didn't deserve all of the stick that he got, but never a premier league player and it is good to see the back of him.

Glad he has gone. Nothing against the bloke but not good enough. Every time I saw his name on the team sheet my heart sank.

Like a few others he was adding nothing to the team now and only taking up wages. Some of the deadwood being gotten rid of is a good thing.

Always conducted himself in a professional manner just a shame he wasn't that talented as a footballer. Just commented on SSN that the club is a completely different one to the one a couple of seasons back, most of us wouldn't argue with him on that. Good luck Keith!
