krypton1980 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I feel for the guy. Blackburn fans moaned about allardyce due to the fact he played crap football. kean comes in and tries to put some footballing principles in a bunch of fairly rubbish players and gets ridiculed for it. He's been dignified through this fiasco and the blackburn fans have treated him like ######. personally i would point the finger at the owners but thats just me. Steve is that you ? You bought those players Seriously - time to find a new message board to spaM (Maps).
Tugay-is-God Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 No hairdryer from Blackburn Rovers boss Kean after Arsenal drubbing You see that's his problem, I'd bet a lot of money that he has never once shouted at the players. That's why he supposedly gets on with the players so well, he's too nice to them and just tries to be their friend.
Mr Maureen Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Not that I have anything against anyone being creative but at least there was an element of sarcasm and irony in what we did with those two videos from some (also) very annoyed Rovers fans. Next time we will get him to cover some Dr Dre with a Garageband drum loop accompaniment. Dr Dre ?......Garageband drum loop ?........Why should he do that.

He is just a horrible human being and a horrible manager.

47er Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Nobody touting Kean for Manager Of The Year this week?
davulsukur Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Nobody touting Kean for Manager Of The Year this week? Just as worrying, not even a whisper of him getting the sack either (I know, i know, he's bullet proof )
Plastic Head Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Keano for England. Pleeze pleeze pleeze. Ask the sky muppets FA, they'll tell you how good he is. Its just us nasty Roverites booing that mak him look bad.
mick Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Kean for England is about 8 gadzillion to 1. Even the idiots at the FA aren't that stupid. Lmfao
krypton1980 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Kean for England is about 8 gadzillion to 1. Even the idiots at the FA aren't that stupid. Lmfao But the Fa have said public opinion will be involved in their final decision as to whom to appoint, so all we have to do is convince the general public that Kean is "brilliant". Shouldnt be to difficult with all the backers he has in the media and other managers.
Mercer Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 After 40 odd PL matches in charge, two transfer windows, an almost empty injury room, even Kean can have few excuses left !!! Don't buy all this stuff about if we don't beat QPR, ffs, it's clear, the man is not fit for purpose. Still think my bet is good about him being next to go.
HemelRover Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 kean wanted by police Well, that got my hopes up!
Mattyblue Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 'Kean is known to travel.' 'He is white, around 5ft 9ins, of stocky build with a shaved head'

Don't buy all this stuff about if we don't beat QPR, ffs, it's clear, the man is not fit for purpose. Still think my bet is good about him being next to go. To make things worse, hes actually had 3 transfer windows. Your spot on, we cant keep trying to find the odd fixture we MIGHT win. Every PL club needs at least 40 points to survive, thats 10 wins and 10 draws out of 38 games. Kean doesnt look like he can deliver this on a consistant basis, remember 40 points is just to survive, he told us we would be top 10!!! Well Steve teams in the top 10 dont lose 9 out of 12 home games!! He comes out and says our second half displays vs Bolton and Stoke deserved something, yes for him to get the sack!!! You simply cant go two nil down at home and expect to get something and by "something" im guessing he means one point? whoopie doo!!
yoda Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Who is going to start the Kean for England chants on Saturday then?
ABBEY Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Who is going to start the Kean for England chants on Saturday then? KEAN FOR SPURS!!
ross-shire rover Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 'Arry for England with our Steve as his number 2..
BRFC1995 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 the unsackable "more than just a manager" message seems to have well and truly sunk in now, the page numbers in this thread where going up quicker than the reading in a steve kean breath test, but may struggle to get to 600 now (while the club still exists anyway).
yoda Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 In any other organisation he would be sacked for gross mis management example Hoilet, rated at £8mill +, valuable company asset, disposed of for maybe £700k, net loss £7.3 mill, instant sacking in my book,

Not sure where to start with that one. Firstly...a manager isn't responsible for contract negotiations. And regardless, when has Hoilett been worth £8 million plus? Nobody has ever offered us that amount of money. He's only worth what a team has offered us.

Really, why did O great one fly to Canada to get his signature then. ok change 8 for 6, still a major loss, O great one seems to be responsible for everything as he does not answer to the board!
