glen9mullan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 It's just dawned on me that Steve will probably still be in charge for the home game against Chelsea on the 5th November. Surely we've potentially got the ultimately "We Hate The Manager" protest? Penny for the Steve, mister? I swear it look JUST like the dummy we made. Didn't even make a sound. Someone must have spiked his drink! I sincerley hope he is not fired on the 5th November, thats the date I buried my brother in his full rovers colours, and my bro be turning in his grave with what Steve Kean has turned our team into. Kean already got caught drink driving on my Wedding day, so he aint having anymore of my familes anniversaries, We want him gone this week, and to never darken the doors of ewood park again Can someone confirm the time for the march tomorrow please? we are meeting from 12.30 onwards and the March will leave 13.45 prompt bud
Rovers_786 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Are the venkys here than for the Spurs game the cowards.
AggyBlue Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Only just come across this from the Mirror, but should Rovers win tomorrow Kean wants to do a lap of honour with the players http://www.mirrorfoo...icle817498.html So he's trying to use the players to put a protective barrier between himself and the fans. He thinks the crowd will applaud the players and if he's behind them he can tell the Venky's the plaudits were for him as well. Due to a change of plan I'll now be attending tomorrows game.See you all at the Brown Cow.
chaddyrovers Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Are the venkys here than for the Spurs game. I believe so according to what Balaji Rao said to the Pune 9.

RibbleValleyRover Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Like I said on the Kean thread doing a lap of honour (If Rovers win) is a clever way to neutralise the effect of the protests. Think about it, there will be a lot of fans in the ground who feel that any vitriol should be directed towards the manager and the owners not the players. Let's say Rovers get the win no matter how convincing it is and Kean and the players do a lap of honour. You think fans are going to boo them? Of course they won't, a lot of fans fear that booing will have a 'negative impact on the team'. The players will be clapped and so will Kean because he will be there with the players. To add another dimension to it with the owners present as well they will see the manager and players being clapped if Rovers get the win and they do their walk around the pitch. The owners will then think Kean has the support of the fans. I have to say it's a devious move by the club and at the same time a clever one by Agnew or Kean. I wanted Rovers to lose the game to force more pressure on the owners to do the right thing, well this proposed celebration makes me want that outcome even more.
Rovers_786 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I lead to believe Steve Kean and the club held one big meeting tonight over some issues he facing on sunday :xmas:
beerwins Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 We are playing Spurs at home not Barcelona at the Nou Camp if we win and they do a lap of honor tbh I would be embarrassed for them, it just shows how fans, Players and the manager's expections of Rovers have dropped. Spurs are a decent team but they are certainly beatable at home, if you enter a game like we are entering the game the players already think they are playing a better team, we are but you dont tell them that. I lead to believe Steve Kean and the club held one big meeting tonight over some issues he facing on sunday :xmas: Have they put bulletproof glass around his technical area?

AggyBlue Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Have they put bulletproof glass around his technical area? I think Paul was joking Let's say Rovers get the win no matter how convincing it is and Kean and the players do a lap of honour. You think fans are going to boo them? The owners will then think Kean has the support of the fans. We will have to ignore the players and carry on with the 'Kean Out' chants
rover1995 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Lads, i hope we are all there in numbers tomorrow. Please don't pe put off by the weather or anything else. If you love Rovers, please stand loud and proud. Our club is slowly getting destroyed and we just can't stand for this. We need to make a serious statement of intent, everybody take a KEAN OUT poster into the ground and hold it up. I think burning pictures of him/Venky's will also be a great idea as it sends out a message. After the game too, don't leave the stadium, stay as long as we can then take the protest to the front of Jack Walker, don't let the police make us move this time. STAND LOUD AND PROUD!! RTID So please come and show your love for Rovers and make sure these Vermin know how we feel about them. Hate KEAN/VENKY'S LOVE ROVERS
arbitro Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Samba up for sale sign again Mr Kean. Why on earth does he have to mention Samba in an interview about himself and the fans? Bizarre.
walk down bolton road Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Samba up for sale sign again Mr Kean. Be fair windymiller all he is doing is his masters wishs, this is why he will never be sacked,Venkys say Kean sees it done, what a scumbag.

Stuart Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 A lap of honour for one game against Spurs says it all about Kean really... Fans are protesting over 12 months of ineptitude. He'll be celebrating one 'positive result'.
Andy Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Weather is pretty glorious in the local area this morning - let's hope it helps numbers
