Brfcrule1 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 that's brilliant perth classic design maybe we should arrange to have one sent sent to Mrs D see what she makes of it! lol!
broadsword Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I think Puneative action needs to be taken. We're such a classy club these days. Hope it didn't spoil Henning's chrimbo.
OJRovers Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Good podcast as always Will this one be sent over and listened to in India?
Muddboy Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Great podcast as usual. Interesting to hear that some of the players have allegedly approached the PFA for some help with the current situation. Is there anything to stop them from going on strike? No team = no games = no points = no revenue. That would surely force Venky's hand...?
Eddie Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Well, they wouldn't receive any pay and they could eventually have their contracts cancelled. It's unlikely that they would be willing to give up pay and there are probably one or two players who we would happily let loose if given the opportunity.
perthblue02 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Wasn't it rumoured that some players approached the PFA whilst Kean was in charge as well?
glen9mullan Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Good podcast guys, enjoy listening to these, All the best for 2013
Kelbo Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Well, they wouldn't receive any pay and they could eventually have their contracts cancelled. It's unlikely that they would be willing to give up pay and there are probably one or two players who we would happily let loose if given the opportunity. Not if action was backed by the PFA, maybe a days wages or a match fee but thats all, employers have a duty of care to their employees and if this was to be causing players undue stress, any cancelling of contracts would lead to a constructive dismissal charge!!
Eddie Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The PFA is never going to allow players at a big English club to go on strike, not when they are receiving their pay on time.
philipl Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Excellent podcast. Difficult story to tell but comprehensively explained in all its sorry detail. Particularly glad the Cryer and Blackburn exchange pointing to Shebby having told less than the truth on 606 was highlighted. I understand Mrs D hss caught him being similarly evasive in the past which is one reason why he might be chopped first.
watford-rover Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Any idea if we're getting a podcast today given all that's happened this week
Kamy100 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Just recorded it. Hopefully out later today or tomorrow.
