would give us a plan B option and another striker that we need now DJ suspended.

Burnley after him too it seems........ hmmm.

Dyche was on BBC Radio Lancashire tonight saying no interest in Wickham.

Get rid of Best and DJ , and then try to bring someone in....

Easier said than done though , cannot see any other club wanting 2 total wasters on their books !

John Guidetti on loan would be my pick. Had full training in two weeks now. Could be loaned out. Fully fit but need games.

If you look at the teams in the top they have two strikers who scored 5 or more goals.

Best has scored 2 goals, DJ none. Rhodes 10.

I actually believe a player like Sam Baldock at Bristol C would do better than Best and DJ.

I'm inclined to agree, Somerset.

For a club facing a transfer embargo (and therefore, reading between the lines, submitting to FFP rather than finding ways around them), loanees is probably not the wisest use of money though. Maybe if we are in the Top 6 by January it may become more tempting but other than that we need to get our wages down to sub-£4,500 per week each. (£10 ticket x 14k attendees x 23 matches / 52 weeks / 14 players).

At least those players might appreciate the fans!

Kamy just tweeted that we are bringing in young Liverpool striker Adam Morgan on loan

The player tweeted 'exciting times ahead'

A Liverpool view;

Scores a @#/? ton for the ressies, so many that it's getting pretty pointless him playing there.

Scored from the halfway line earlier this season.

Works dead hard.

Not the most technically gifted footballer but he can finish.

That's the sound of the barrell being scrapped.

Not knocking the lad but he needs a spell down the lower leagues first, you can't just pitch up at a championship side with no experience other than the odd appearance for league two Rotherham.

From that description he sounds like Rhodes MkII.

So wheres the intent to gain promotion this season with this one.

Come off it JAL. What are we supposed to do? The transfer window is shut and we are left to sift through whats available on loan. Who would we be able to bring in half way through November that would make the world sit up and think 'Crikey they mean business'? Plus the small fact we haven't got a pot to p!ss in.

A hard-working forward to partner roads would be great. I remember Paul Dickov chasing down defenders with a crazy intensity - it did create a few chances, and at the very least you stop the opposition having loads of time to plan their attack. .
