The article on "mint" is interesting  as having a piece published in India feels a huge step. Kudos to those that have managed to find an Indian journalist brave enough to mention Venkys, that's proven impossible in the past and might just be the final straw

a decision like that would be unpopular mostly, but communicate the decision to the players directly to them personally and properly, not lead it to the women head coach to do it. Also communicate the decision to the supporters by a video explaining the reasons why and what happens going forward. Rovers aren't proactive media relations wise and not smart. 

I have no interest in women football or watching Rovers Woman team but the decision is wrong one and axing it is wrong move.

So you can’t explain how those steps could have avoided a PR disaster- unsurprisingly, as obviously they couldn’t possibly have.

If Rovers decided to sell the stadium, chaddy would simply demand a video explaining the decision to the stakeholders.

Wrong here RF99. Like with the Senior Training Centre being sold that they tried, I called it out straight away and said it's was completely and utter disgrace to do it. 

Rovers PR and media relations are poor as ever. Look at India Court and the mess around that. They tried to ignore it instead of being proactive and control the story.

Not quite, it would go like this:

1. In response to everyone who has a functioning brain cell going absolutely mental about this, chaddy would be responding fanatically by regurgitating the club's reasons for doing it without ever stating his own opinion on the matter due to him either not having one or not being capable of having one.

2. He would then clarify that he will be down Witton Park every week to watch his Rovers because it is his choice and he will never not support his club. Just get over it.

A lot of effort going into global press,

They want some back up to claims, having reached out to club for comment who are denying a number of things we know to be true. (Though that being said the person replying is that far down food chain, it's comical)

Expecting some articles to go to press imminently.

Complete silence from club as they continue to avoid engaging, with it appearing they want to fob groups off in Lindsay Talbots direction and mask communication tick box through FF.

If the FF boycott then they will be in breach of EFL Rules though we are looking into those engagement breaches already as we don't believe they are compliant with the charter.

The final group not in the Coalition has been reached out to, to make it a full suite.

Noticed the Yasir interview yesterday claiming the 150 celebrations were inclusive and open to all, despite no one being invited bar a member of the 100 club and WATR (2 reps) . Making it a total of 3 reps on the panel.

With Waggott now gone, the feeling from our club sources is funding and ideas will be cut significantly, despite things having been previously agreed in principle with the exiting CEO

I have stated on here, before that we need to make a fans version of the 150th celebrations, as the clubs ideas so far have been pathetic. In some ways, they have already scored a huge own goal,, as those of us, who remember the centenary season, will be aware that the season 19/74/75 was celebrated that and won promotion from the old third division. There was a rallying cry, before that season started, from within the club, that we would go all out for promotion, which was achieved and one of the best seasons, I remember supporting the club.

Once the fixtures are announced, perhaps we can choose the home game closest to the date of the club being formed and maybe get some activities set up around that, such as inviting former players and maybe even getting a celebratory shirt, available from this and other sites, like the retro one that was marketed on here.

In the meantime, keep up, the brilliant work it would be an even bigger cause to celebrate the centenary, if we flush this lot out, once and for all.

I'm of the view that first game of the season is boycotted and everyone attends the women's first fixture.

Whatever great ideas the fans collectively come up with, the one thing that needs to happen, is for it to be blatantly obvious the clubs senior hierarchy had zero involvement. They're likely to try and claim some kind of involvement in anything positive.

Absolutely.

Perhaps the the coalition can go to the press with it and make it abundantly clear that we are doing this on our own, with no club involvement, purely down to the clubs pathetic attempt at it so far.
