Why are you in a protest thread when no form of protest would be supported by you?

I'm not the one calling for people to invade the pitch and get the game calling out which will likely piss alot of fans off by your actions and risk people getting a criminal record and people jobs at risk!

Has anyone contacted protests groups from other clubs to ascertain whether they were held responsible for costs incurred and if so;

  • what sums of money were involved
  • how they went about raising this money

Owls would be a good one

What kind of legal protest would you attend?

A game being interrupted will be a blessing, don’t have to watch Rudy’s crap signings and getting battered as he hired a crap manager.

The question was not why will you not protest to be fair, it was why are you bothering with a protest specific thread if you have no interest in it whatsoever.

I totally get and agree that I wouldn't be running on the pitch, nor should people urge others to do so, especially in some cases when they dont go themselves, so wouldn't be taking on the same risks that they expect others to.

But you also say it would piss alot of fans off. By this, do you mean that if other people ran onto the pitch, and lets say got a game paused, or even abandoned, embarrassing the owners/board, creating bad publicity and challenging the twats who are running our clubs into the ground. You would be pissed off about that?

I have not seen this information so maybe thousands of other fans haven't.

Post the information on here, let's make it punchy and disseminate widely and see if we can gain any traction.  Has to be worth a go.

Agreed.

Lets get it out there that the powers that be are so embarrassed about how the attendances have been decimated, that they are prepared to manipulate the figures.

It has been confirmed that the attendance for the Oxford game, including away fans was 6380.

That's how far we have fallen and given the club want to massage the figures, they are clearly concerned about it.

Still fully entitled to read and comment in the thread,

Exactly, they expect people to put their jobs and family at risk, maybe certain people need to serious think about. Only in summer 25,some Burnley fans got banning orders for running on the pitch at end of last season.

Of course I would be pissed off about another game being abandoned again, meaning another rearrangement probably another midweek game. What about the effects on disability or elderly fans?

How is running on the pitch challenging the Rovers owners and senior management?

Also why hasn't the Blackburn MP or Rovers fan Tim Farron asked a question about Rovers owners during a Culture, Media and Sport session or even a Urgent question. They never mentioned anything about Rovers during the Football governance bill.

Also why does any ex Rovers player or legend never ever question the ownership?

…yet he’d be the very first one celebrating new owners (after being consistently negative towards everything and everyone that ever tried to get us there).

You make a good point there tbh,not enough ex Players or Managers speaking out against these Owners. We,could do with their help and support.

Ewood is burning, talk about turning the other cheek, its galling to say the leaset imo.

The point being neither MP raise anything about Rovers ownership during any Footballing governance bill session or even culture, media, sport session.

Why not try to the culture, media and Sport Secretary or sport minister to write to the owners? Even ask a question during PMQS and get the Prime Minister to comment on the record about it, even ask him to sent a letter to the owners?

In fact the local MP did refer to the club during the HOC debates on the Football Governance Bill. On 28 April he asked the junior minister to "join me in congratulating Blackburn Rovers on their outstanding community work, especially to support young boys and girls from all backgrounds in football ? Their commitment to inclusivity and development at grassroots level is truly commendable."

My point was perfectly valid.

There you go.

They pay the wages and you don’t get a murmur out of local politicians or media.

Fan groups are the only chance we have as we certainly have no allies anywhere else.
