Wasnt there a post made by J*b recently that he had been in contact with and indeed had a meeting with a group that were interested in taking over Rovers?

Nothing to see here i'd wager.

The one and only chance anyone, billionaire Arab or local pie shop millionaire, have of getting past first base is to make direct contact with the head of the ownership.

I'd suggest that is nigh on impossible unless you move in the same circles, due to the amount of buffers in place and people who'll deflect it in their own interests.

Or of course maybe offer the middleman a nice fat juicy introduction fee.....

I don't deny that Mercer's information that contact might have been made, or that there are interested parties out there.

The thing I just don't see happening is venkys letting go of this club, ever.

This could be a fun game of trying to guess

I had a look last night and came to the conclusion it could have been the Pelligra Group, owners of Perth Glory

Agree with this, which is why the interested buyers need to get hold of the coalition, get some pressure put onto them and also to dispel the "who would buy us" crew as well as Pasha's rhetoric about no one making approaches.

A few years ago, I posted on this MB about Battersby and associates approaching V's to take a stake in Rovers.  There hadn't been a whiff about this anywhere.  A few days later, local media caught-up!

I was in two minds whether to post today what I have done knowing there would be cynicism from some.

I post in good faith but you really wonder whether it's worth the aggravation.

You can't blame people for not believing you every season you used say the tipping point is coming and admin was around the corner.

You sold Jordan Rhodes more times than Alan Nixon.

You claimed to have the inner details of Adam Armstrongs move to Southampton.

I could go on.

It's hardly aggravation to be questioned by a few posters on here over the legitimacy of your claims

You forgot Akor Adams.

Like when the Qatari's were on the phone to Anderson is one of the lounges at Ewood but Balaji said no ?

Or when Red Bull were on their way over to buy an English club and Rovers kit was the best match ?

They paid  £31M and have apparently "lost" $200M+ in the 15years since.

I'm sure they'd sell for that but nobody will pay it.

The only joy I get from that is how much more the Walker Trust would have got if they'd only hung on for a while longer.

If there is genuine interest we need to be making sure that:

A) the venkys know about it. I don't trust Pasha to relay the message

B) if they're getting stonewalled, make sure the interest is public knowledge. I'm sick of the "who would buy us" crowd.

And the car with Dyche’s private number plate being driven around Brockhall. Not to mention all the winning bets except when a result is forecast in advance
