Makes me laugh how modern keepers punch and punch… until defending a lead late on, they then suddenly remember how to catch again (with elaborate falls to the ground wasting thirty seconds) 😅

Can understand (🤣) why Leeds fans were annoyed with Pears taking his time but he was given a yellow card which doesn't always happen when an away keeper does this at Ewood. Seen a lot worse so a little bit of pay back.

Still bouncy on the result, the way we scored & Rovers fans reaction when players came over after game with the "we are staying up, we are staying up...." sound hitting the airways.

I remember a game at Ewood where their keeper took an age to take every clearance after they got an early goal.

When we got an equaliser he was suddenly Action Man scrambling behind the goal to get the ball back in play!

Couldn't even wait for the ballboy to do his job. Did we laugh!

As a keeper, it always annoyed me when opposition players would try to hurry me up when behind. "I'm not on your time here mate" or "you shouldn't have conceded that goal" were my standard lines to them.

Youre entitled to take some time to get your goal kick/throw in right. If you want to go faster you do, if not, you don't have to speed up because it suits your opponent.
