sharpysharps86 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Sign that fella for the name alone. That aside, the fact that its come to battling Oxford to sign players says it all. The implosion when Travis gets sold and Forshaw returns as his replacement is going to be off the charts. Quote

Forever Blue Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago He looks like he can put a tackle in, has good technique and can get around the pitch. He looks like he fits with Val’s high tempo approach. BRFCS YouTube transfer committee says sign him up! 2 Quote

If the mighty Oxford are in for him forget it. It's the three club rule. Though I imagine it's done with 2 clubs on occasion. Quote
blue and whites Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Looking at the stats on whoscored, he was one of the top performers of the bottom 10 teams. If we are going for players from belgium and netherlands, I wish we would go for Mohamed ihattaren. Was a huge talent a few years back. Decent season, and His club got relegated this summer. Quote

One comment says "one of the best midfielders in Holland outside of playing for a top flight club" He's also captain for his current side. Theres no way he comes here to be backup. If it's a legit story then Travis or Tronstad will be leaving. Edited 17 hours ago by BankEnd Rover 3 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago He is also contracted until 2028. I just don't imagine us paying a fee that someone under that length of contract would command. Quote

There are plenty of minutes to go around and we ran Travis and Tronstad into the ground last season - both picked up significant injuries because they were overworked. At Rovers we're expecting an Academy player to back up our starter, so yeah it's unlikely to happen. Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Derby in for Travis now he obviously has the 'for sale' sign around his neck. Quote

Emerald Isle Rover Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Firstly I don’t think we will pay any significant fee for any player this off season but playing devils advocate here maybe funds are available for the sales of possibly Buckley / jrc / Dolan compensation / picks? although history does suggest itl likely be someone we don’t want to lose ie tronstad/ travis Quote
roversfan99 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago If we do sell Buckley and JRC we wont get much of a fee for either. Quote

Both players who have struggled at Championship level so you are probably looking at League 1 clubs. 1 Quote

Awful goals record in League One for a striker. Never hit double digits. Edited 15 hours ago by bluebruce Quote

No one is going to pay money for either so both will be here till their contracts run out. As usual at this club better ones get let go or sold whilst the others are allowed to stay on the gravy train when it should be the other way around. The likes of those two are the first ones who should be traded for younger fresher cheap potential or academy grads whilst the best players should be retained way before their contracts begin to tick down. Shambles. Edited 15 hours ago by Tomphil2 1 Quote
