Travis - he blows hot and cold, usually starts the season incredibly then tails off.Β Tronstad is far more consistent and important to us (on the pitch). That said, both are solid Championship midfielders so Iβd rather not lose them to a rival, nor on a free transfer next yearΒ 6 Quote

superniko Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Their ITK who posted it has βunleadedβ level status on there by the looks of it. Iβd guess Travis or Myoshi Quote
Emerald Isle Rover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just donβt see how they can pay approx 4million for a midfielder (they donβt really need) when needing other positionsΒ Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago We start with Travis and Trondstat and try and get as many points as possible on the board first few months then gradually integrate a new look midfield.Β Trav is ok with this as they've a gentleman's agreement he'll see out his contract and leave or be sold/loaned in Jan if he's out of the team. Or is that far too sensible. Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I've never been Travs biggest fan, definitely limited but he does have great leadership which is what we'll miss the most. Hopefully we see Baradji come in as a replacement.Β 1 Quote
JHRover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Discussing selling / releasing our academy developed captain aged 27 to a side like Derby County 2 days before the season kicks off. The sort of thing that wouldn't even be believable at any other club, yet here we know it is only a matter of time - it is happening at some point between now and June. And some still act like this is a serious football club.Β 4 Quote

That's way too many. I did actually assume both Travis and Tronstad would be off when we unexpectedly signed Tavares then we were linked with Baradji. Although I dont think we're quite up to Tony Mowbray levels where at one point I think I calculated we had 14 midfielders in the squad. Quote

ObiWhan8t7 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) My guess would be Miyoshi over Travis. Didnβt Miyoshi play under Eustace before? With Travis having one year left, and his next contract could be his biggest payday he has left in his career, He walks for free next year Edited 4 hours ago by ObiWhan8t7 Quote

Emerald Isle Rover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Or it could just be massive click bait it is the off season after all and every summer and Xmas/jan time thereβs more and more βITKβ accounts literally just making stuff up Itβs an easy connection to make but if there was something in it you would assume more reputable sources would be reporting itΒ that said I wouldnβt be surprisedΒ Quote

Cantwell and Henriksson play further forward (in our 4-2-3-1 formation). Buckley and Forshaw are naff - and it looks like Buckley is on his way out. So one more to go along with Travis, Tronstad and Tavares please? Edited 4 hours ago by Exiled_Rover 1 Quote

Whilst we limp on with two sub 10 goal strikers and no decent RW. Β Quote
roversfan99 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Baradji shouldnt be a priority. If we keep Travis, then we already have 2 new midfielders. If we lose him, we dont want a player out injured for months. If we just sign one right winger, say Miyoshi. We are still well short of goal threat and pace across the front. Need at least a striker on top of that, minimum. Id still prefer another attacking player on top of that. Even if the latter two have to be loans, or one of them is a loan. 2 Quote
JCRovers Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago My guess as to what will happen within the next week or so: - Travis gets sold - Mafoumbi gets sold or have his contract terminated to free up an ESC-slot. Shouldn't be an issue given they released Sigurdsson in advance last season when he was cut from the 25-man squad. - Baradji signs as replacement for Travis - Tronstad becomes new captain Nightmare scenario: Hyam becomes captain (again) and we start leaking goals for fun. Yes I think we still need another up top. I do think we will get more out of cantwell Kargbo and the new rw but still would like more depth up topΒ 1 Quote

With him in the side we've had two relatively close misses at getting in the play offs in the last 3 seasons. When he was sidelined and then loaned out, we only stayed up on the last day of the season. 2 Quote
