Similar thoughts to RF 99.

Is that actually possible?

They found ACD last year

I have faith in them to ensure that they manage someone of similar "quality" this season too

This club will find a way to make it possible.

I'd be tempted to go with Alebiosu in front of Miller tomorrow instead of seeing Hedges do nothing again.

Whenever the new right winger comes in, I gaurentee he will be back up and won't be as good as Hedges.

Scary times.

That's practically impossible as long as he's a professional footballer.

Every player we seem to sign is worse than there predecessor, that isnt going to change here.

Pressure within - as mentioned by other accounts or posters waggott was their fall guy. Now there is nobody to pin blame on it’s Rudy & pashaΒ

I also see one of the Rao family in attendance recently and never has done so before. It could be wishful thinking but I’m hoping the walls are closing in on pasha and then in turn RudyΒ

They will be feeling the pressure from within. I think it's in large part down to the efforts of the fans' Coalition.

Whatever communication Pasha might have with Pune, Glen has been keeping them in the loop. His recent tetchy "why don't you text them" response to a question from Glen, is an indicator of how much that bothers him.

Balaji's son was supposedly at the game the other night as was one of their finance guys. I hope it is related and it wasn't just a coincidental visit.

Pasha and Rudy know we need to get a result tomorrow. The Ewood crowd only turns as a whole when results and performances are bad. Two poor displays already have the fans feeling down.

Players wanting to leave (Travis), uncertainty over contract extensions and these topics being no no's in today's press conference adds to the pressure.

Another crap performance and result tomorrow will see it turn up a notch.

Sorry, him saying on the one hand on a podcast what he really thinks but then on the other putting out puff pieces for the LT all the time as if everything is perfectly normal isn't helpful, in fact it's exactly the opposite.

I know his employers dont want to bite the hand that feeds them and he has to put food on the table etc etc but for the sake of the welfare of the Club it's gone way beyond that. The Club's very existence is in peril, at least at a meaningful level.

Anyhow credit where it's due - Im very impressed that the LT have led with the partial blackout. It seems they don't mind putting out PR nonsense on behalf of the Club, but when access to that nonsense is removed or restricted they don't like it at all!

Sorry but that’s utter tripe.

hes a journalist. He asks the club questions and reports on what they say. There’s only so much he can do.Β
Β

what he says on his podcast is separate to his professional job.

Ben Doak going for Β£25m, what a world we live in

Liverpool have it sussed don't they, get big bucks for average youth products after loaning them to Championship sides.

Took him from Celtic for 600k training compo 3 years ago, sent him to Boro on loan for a year, bam, 25 million. We raise Wharton all his life and get 18 million.

Yes - exactly this - if he insists on being "transparent" and in the process portraying Trav as the villain of the piece then we need to know exactly how much we're offering him and how much Derby are offering him.

For example if we were only offering Β£8k p.w. and Derby were offering Β£16k p.w. all blame suddenly shifts away from Trav for wanting to leave doesn't it?

If he's being offered double his wage, I'd say there's zero blame on him regardless. The only question is how much we can also blame the club. At 8k, yes we could very much blame them.

Missed out on him again 😩

If that's where he ended up, it sounds like we never 'missed out' on him in the first place.

He will be better than whoever we bring in.

In terms of strikers, yeh probably as we have no plans to bring one in apparently. But if we do bring one in and they're not better than a League Two striker, it was barely worth bothering.

I mean that's blatantly not true.

Tronstad. Ohahsi. Gueye (if you're that way inclined).

We've been linked with him for years.

Sheer coincidence JoeH is at Barrow?

ACD is a bit lightweight but miles better than Hedges Id say.

we can`t even compete with barrow nowπŸ˜€

I can't imagine we are trying to. His name hasn't been linked for quite a while now. His star has faded.

suffice to say "we are f****d" i did predict last season that the remaining players of any value would be sold off,it`s come to fruition . the family silver has been replaced with lead, unless val gets some quality personel in the next two weeks it`s going to be a painful season,i won`t get my hopes up tbh

No wonder its taking them so long to find someone worse!Β

I genuinely believe you could stick a traffic cone in the opponents box for 90 minutes each week and it would have a better assists/goals return than Ryan Hedges has over the course of his Rovers career.

I realise that’s probably correct. But I also ask myself how that’s possible πŸ˜†πŸ˜
