I think it's fairly typical for a player to get roughly half the remaining value of their contract when mutually terminating. If someone paid me 1.5 years of work in a flash, to get out of this circus of a club, where I wasn't even anywhere near to making it, I'd consider it a favour tbf. But yes, 'we've sacked him so he can explore other options' is definitely some amusing spin.

You can say practically anything on this message board, but it doesn't necessarily mean it is true 🙂

As with all other things 'factual' about Rovers, we will have to go on the announcements made by the club, rather than any speculative commentary (however well intentioned) from outside agents.

However, if it is true, and Buckley gets to play in the coolest league in the world (based on sales of air conditioning units per capita), then good luck to him.

Given that today the club doesn't know if they loaned Duru for 3 months or 10 with an option to buy, I'm not sure we can trust announcements made by the club...

Nothing is 100% with any transfer but I trust my source better than some of the rumours on here. I reckon it is 90% happening.

Youve clearly not read my post or understood my point.

It ws about using up an ESC slot on an under 21 gamble when we clearly had plans to look abroad for signings.

The only reason he is being let go is because he has a slot - it’s inept from the club 

what will be more inept is if we sign koji miyoshi knowing we didn’t need to free up a spot if we signed him before he came on for Bochum over a week ago 

or we sign Baradji who I think is rudys top target and he’s not ready to kick a ball until oct/nov time 

so of the two positions were after only one slot available so one will need to meet the criteria and going by the summer recruitment so far I think their struggling
