I hope he goes.

I'd be sick to get any further compensation for him (thereby easing the burden on the Venkys and prolonging their toxic stay), but what an opportunity for the lad.

I wish Rudyโ€™s data driven approach would focus on some bloody attackers.

Our current attackers couldnโ€™t unlock a door with the key in the lock. Iโ€™m looking at you Ryan Hedges ๐Ÿซต

The only data I want on this prick is here is your P45 now fuck off back to where you come from, as you downed tools and now we are downing you.

The guy is poison.

I've seen it said that Baradji also plays right wing. So I'll not be 100% surprised if we don't get a separate right winger.

What Baradji definitely can't do is come straight into the team (assuming the reason he isn't playing for his club is that he has had the surgery as believed).

According to Transfermarket, he's only played RW 5 times. He's being playing CM for pretty much is whole career.ย

He's Trav's replacement.

Rovers in their wisdom have ensured no way back by deliberately making him the problem for 'wanting' a move to Derby and the manager publicly announcing this in his press conference.ย

Had he not done so there would have been a chance of keeping this behind closed doors and rescuing the situation if an appropriate offer didn't materialise.

But then again they've known for 12+ months he was getting offloaded and his wages off the books. All deliberate. I suspect he was high on the list for removal last summer and it was only the presence of Eustace and his unwillingness to accept what they were doing that led to him staying last season.ย

All we are seeing is their long term plan being carried out with increasing desperation as we approach deadline day and other than a relatively low bid from Derby probably haven't got the sort of offer that Suhail and his underlings want for their figures.

I just hope that Travis is man enough to spill the beans.

The club shat on him, so hope he bites back.ย

I think the best we will get from him is an admission that he was never offered a new contract and some comments about how difficult it has been in the last few weeks as he's been fit and wanting to play but was told to stay away.ย

Then it will be the usual PR soundbites about what a great big club Derby are, straight out of the new signing playbook.

One thing you can say about the scum who own us is they're masters of spinning narrative and getting a lot of our fans eating out of their hands.

ย

Mad that they do indeed have just this one actual skill, and no others, and it has to be one that actively fucks us over and helps prolong the misery.

I've seen people deride Travis for being leggy, having a low xG and not having an engine. Thick as mince, the lot of them.

Honestly itโ€™s embarrassing, some fans should start showing a backbone and stop accepting it, I feel some people deserve this regime by how they blindly criticise players/staff for leaving and how fans spin narratives like โ€œhe isnโ€™t that good anyway, heโ€™s dirtyโ€ is strangeย

But why we have to ask? Isak is able to release a statement why isnโ€™t Travis?ย

If you think the club are beyond spinning it that he covers both positions, it may be an unpleasant finish to the transfer window. This is our last ESC slot I think, unless I'm having a brain fart, and they've struggled to land a RW with a slot available (as they could have cancelled Mafoumbi at any time).

Let's not forget De Neve has played a lot of his football as a LB and LWB but he's basically playing on the wing here.

I've still got zero problem with Ismael telling the truth - that Travis wants out and has submitted a transfer request.ย

ย

As for the spinning narrative - you mean what's left of our fan base, right? Tens of thousands have walked away.ย

To your first point - I'm of the opinion it's weakened our position considerably.

To your second, absolutely.ย

Genuinely wouldn't put anything past the club these days tbh.

It's only my opinion but i think Baradji replaces Trav and the RW will be likely be a loan

Would be interesting if Travis gets the armband at Derby.

Ability wise he was limited, but his character and leadership will be badly missed. Im sure the handling of the situation will of done no good for team morale.

I like the look of Baradji but the fact he may not be fit, and then he's got to get up to match fitness means we may not see him until October time.

More importantly, we need attackers!!!ย

Exactly it - what Travis brings off the pitch is going to be hard to replace all players loved him crowd loved him and he got stuck inย

phrely footballing terms very limited hence not a queue to get him but still what he brought to our team going to be a big big loss

Their current captain is Ebou Adams, so its conceivable that Travis would take his place in the side meaning they would need a new captain

Ha, Derby journo half an hour ago saying fee of 1.2 million agreed before add on's, 20 mins later Jackson pops up with 'fee could rise to 3 miilion with add on'e'.

Never be in any doubt which hymn sheet he sings from.

If you seek the truth in this start at the Derby end...

He is an important player for them and sometimes plays further forward so i cant imagine that it will be either or.

No one can tell me playing Derby on our 150th celebration was a coincidence. Someone has a sense of humour.

That day might end up being very embarrassing for us.

At the end of last season, the only real objective for the summer was to keep hold of Trav, Brittain and Tronstad, strengthen the attack and we should do ok.

Now we've sold 2 of the 3 and added fuck all in attack.
