Waggy76 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry, good performance, good goals too. We need the Venkys Out nothing else matters! Come July all the goalscorers will be sold to the lowest bidder, cos their contracts are up in 12 months! 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted April 18 Posted April 18 once again we`ve nearly reached the play offs and have something to build on,will the three muppets and the chicken savagers actually build on it,i`ll leave that question to you fellow fans Quote

Shame it's too little, too late. But a lot to be positive about with that performance. Something to build on in the Summer, we're finally playing some decent football under Ismael. Quote

M_B Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Wouldn't have wanted to miss being there today. Brilliant 3rd goal, I'm waiting to see Dolan's skill again in the build up, out of your seat stuff. Some great performances got to be Britain for man of the match. Cracking win against a form team. 4 Quote

Are you expecting 5-10 goals from Travis next season? Both have scored 2 goals this season. I'm guessing you won't. You seem to have different expectations of Tronstad (and Hyam) to other players. 4 Quote

Popular Post arbitro Posted April 18 Popular Post Posted April 18 In my opinion that performance was in the top five of the season. The momentum we got in the second half against Sheffield and the win at Luton was built upon with a really good win and performance against one of the Championships form teams. There was lots to admire today. The tempo, quality of passing, resilience and intensity but what actually pleased me most was the quality of our goals and the play leading up to them. Who would have predicted those three players as goal scorers today? Ismael deserves some credit too as he did last week. Our shape and tactics worked a treat as we pressed and played a bit further up the pitch. I thought the substitutions were sensible too bearing in mind we have a game on Monday. I also like how he kept faith with Toth by playing him again today. There have been some testing times over the last few months but the last two and a half games have been a stark reminder to me of what Rovers mean to us. The mood of the supporters was really good As we were walking back to the car. That winning feeling takes some beating. 12 Quote

Why though do you think it's unreasonable to expect a return like that off him when he scored two today?. He's obviously capable of doing it when he can be bothered to make the effort. Might be irrelevant as we might lose a number of higher earners like Brittain, Hyam, Travis and Tronstad in the summer anyway. Quote

I think he took a calmer approach I didn't feel edgy once when it came back to him. As said some decent balls played out would just like to see a little more urgency other than that decent performance 1 Quote
