Neal Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Seems like a fair attempt to fill the void left by Brittain. Won't be as good of course but a 24 year old 6ft 2 Australian international. Let's hope he's half as good as his fellow countryman Lucas Neill. Seems on face value there are some similarities, one being a bit of a lunatic. He's a got a monster long throw apparently. Hopefully does ok for us. 2 Quote

Whilst I loved Brittain- what a tidy footballer, great feet.. However wasn't the most athletic... there should be plenty of guile and aggression next season.. Think it's imperative we keep Travis (which we won't!) 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Looking forward to seeing him. Never seen played. So can't commit on the player ability. He was impressive in his Rovers interview Quote

Big guys don’t turn well. I’ll wait until I’ve seen him play but not many centre halves made good full backs. Edited August 4 by Tyrone Shoelaces Quote

You can have him 😉 1 Quote
Grishnakh Posted August 5 Posted August 5 As I said on the transfers thread, very athletic, powerful, good in the air and good going forward. Good crosser and fabulous long throw. BUT, tends to lose his man and make bad choices in defence (which is his main job). Probably safer as a RCB but will hopefully learn discipline in the Championship. He won't play a lot if he doesn't. I doubt Rovers paid more than a mill for him so a pretty good deal for all involved (except maybe Hibs - he would have been important for them this year). Quote
MarkBRFC Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Guessing he won't be involved for a while seeing as he hasn't trained since getting injured on the 9th July. Quote

Exiled in Toronto Mk2 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 I’m liking this fella’s passing resemblance to a young Vinnie Jones 1 Quote
