Toth made 2 excellent, match winning saves and yet he only got 6.8/10? Keepers never get the credit (or blame) they're due in these sorts of things. Quote
Ossydave Posted Wednesday at 20:12 Posted Wednesday at 20:12 Randomly seem to have a decent record at the KP and picked up results there last few times I've been. Alas, I'm working on Saturday so won't be making it a hatty. 1-1 draw my prediction, decent on paper I suppose but doesn't help us much jn the grand scheme of things.... Quote

Andy Posted Wednesday at 20:25 Posted Wednesday at 20:25 One of my team at work is a Leicester fan and he's been really pessimistic all season about them. They've lost a lot of quality in the summer and lots of discontent there. Might not be the worst time to play them. But then, this is Rovers. 1 Quote
philipl Posted Thursday at 05:48 Posted Thursday at 05:48 Very little special about the current Leicester side. The questions are all about Rovers and VI motivating us. I have seen enough to know we can win this relatively comfortably and that we could easily get hammered. Almost certainly we will need Toth to be on the top of his game. A bad start and the Southampton feel good factor will totally evaporate. 1 Quote

You forget, there's very little special about Rovers at the moment. It was a decent fightback against Southampton, and I hope the momentum continues against Leicester. Quote

Although that feels like a long time ago and crucially we had Hyam in the team and Hull's squad had been struck down by illness. Either way, there seems very little to suggest that we will go to Leicester and win comfortably. 1 Quote

Ohashi doesn't have that nasty, competitive streak. Quote

roversfan99 Posted Thursday at 21:54 Posted Thursday at 21:54 How many points did we get for playing fairly well in one half of a game? And we lost 2 nil, how can that strengthen the idea that we go to Leicester and win comfortably. Quote

Old Codger Posted Thursday at 22:36 Posted Thursday at 22:36 (edited) Can't see us getting anything other than a good thrashing here. I think VI should make all the players wear that ridiculous headgear that Yuki donned after his minor surgery last weekend. We could just play football for fun, I suppose, for a change. philipl Posted Friday at 05:05 Posted Friday at 05:05 Coventry are unbeaten this term and we bested them for 45 minutes eventually losing to two volleys which would beat any club in this division. Leicester have a midfield and front line I doubt we can keep out for 90+minutes but their midfield and defence give gifts if pressured. Go for a draw, we will lose, go there with a win as the objective and play like we did at Coventry in the first half, we might come away with a point or three. Quote
